The 2021 Met Gala has caused more than enough drama for the year it missed and then some. Jelena fans screaming at Justin and Hailey, Nicki Minaj not having the vaccine, and now Khloe Kardashian not receiving an invitation because she is too "C-List."

Who thought it was a good idea to invite everyone in her famous family, even her mother, Kris Jenner, to this glamorous night and not her. First, even if she wasn't A-List enough, what's one more person going to do? Second of all, she is more A-List than half the stars at that event.

This news caused her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, to skip out on the event too. Kourtney already sleighed the VMA's the night before so she didn't even need the screen time.

Kylie Jenner opted out of the night as well since she is currently pregnant. Kendall on the other hand made a statement in her jeweled sheer dress while the matriarch of the family Kris Jenner stunned in Alexander McQueen.

Kim Kardashian would never miss out on a Met Gala. She had to show off her all-black outfit that covered her from head to toe.

Who even knows... it could've been Khloe hiding in that ninja ensemble.

Kardashian/Jenners Take Over The Met Gala

Kendall wrote, "I’m obsessed with my team."

Kris wrote, "The most incredible NY night at The Met! Thank you #annawintour."

Kim added, "What’s more American than a T-shirt head to toe?!"

A source told the outlet, "Khloe and Kourtney have never been invited to the Met Gala, but Kourtney was invited to this one and chose to stay home with Khloe because she didn't want to leave her alone."

Kourtney Kardashian and her whirlwind romance with Travis Barker put the mom of three in the spotlight the past couple of months. It is no surprise that she was finally invited to this year's star-studded event.

Unfortunately, the same recognition was not handed to Khloe.

"Vogue's Editor in Chief Anna Wintour, who has overseen the Met Gala guest list since 1995, was said to regard Khloe as "too C-list" for the event. Skip to 2021 and it seems things haven't changed much, as while Khloe was not there, Kim and Kendall Jenner, were able to attend, as was their mom, Kris Jenner."

Fans Stick Up For Khloe

Fans call it like it is!

Khloe wasn't there to partake in the festivities so she shared a cryptic "sad" message instead. It read: "Good morning. Today we are staying hydrated, meditating, ignoring people who make us sad, and communicating our feelings. Now go be great."
