Singer Kylie Minogue is now 51-years-old, and it has been nearly 15 years since she has been cancer-free.

At age 36, the pop singer was diagnosed with breast cancer, and it changed her life, understandably.

An Outlook Forever Changed

As per Daily Mail, Minogue shared her story with WHO magazine, telling them about the 2005 breast cancer diagnosis and how it affected her outlook on life from that point forward.

The Loco-Motion singer explained, “Cancer changed many things forever, and some things didn't change at all.”

Passion And Perspective

Minogue became more passionate about her work, relationships, and so on, and eternally appreciative of all the love and support she received at the time. She kept the same plans in mind for her life, but embarked on them with a different perspective.

Thankfully she beat cancer, and has been healthy ever since.

Stars Survive

Another famous face who feels blessed to have battled breast cancer is actress/singer Rita Wilson, most recently in the news for having contracted COVID-19 along with her husband Tom Hanks, while they were in Australia.

As we recently reported on The Things, March 29th marked five years in which she has been breast cancer-free. A milestone that Minogue surely can relate to.

Both women seem to embrace the gift of life, as they’ve both seen how fragile it can be.
