What Happened Between Liam Hemsworth And Amber Heard?
The 2013 drama/thriller had a stacked cast featuring the likes of Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman, Richard Dreyfuss and the younger stars which included Amber Heard and Liam Hemsworth.
Although 'Paranoia' had a great cast, the film struggled at the box office, bringing in a mere $17 million. It ended up losing money given its budget of $35 million. It wasn't a success in the reviews either, receiving 5.6 out of 10 stars on IMDb.
Rotten Tomatoes wasn't as kind, as the film received a 7% approval rating.
Things were very tough for Hemsworth behind the scenes. Not only was he nervous to shoot intimate scenes alongside Amber Heard, but he was also frightened at the thought of working alongside legends of the game such as Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman.
Ultimately, the experience of working with the legends was better than he could have imagined.
“It was a little scary at first,” he said. “Once I did get to set and worked with these guys, and as intimidated as I might have been coming into it, they were just so supportive and really cared about what was happening with my character as much as theirs. That took all the weight off my shoulders.”
Working alongside Amber Heard proved to be just as tough, especially when it came to a specific scene.
Liam Hemsworth Did Not Have An Easy Time Shooting Intimate Scenes With Amber Heard
Hemsworth himself revealed that he felt uneasy shooting an intimate scene alongside his girlfriend in the film, Amber Heard. Now to be fair, this had less to do with Heard, and more to do with the fact that they were shooting the scene in front of a large crew in the background.
Liam revealed the struggle of the moment. "It’s scary and it’s a little uncomfortable,” Hemsworth said. “I think the best thing to do is make jokes through it and we definitely had a few pranks throughout that scene.”
Although she isn't the most popular person at the moment, Amber Heard did a good job reacting to the moment that saw her co-star very nervous. She made light of the matter, grabbing a certain prop... "Well, I saw a discarded large dil** in the prop truck and I asked if I could borrow it, and after not so long of a pause the prop guy happily handed it over to me."
"I talked to Robert and the producers and made sure that once we got the take and were good, that we could ask for one extra. And unbeknownst to Liam, I just switched out my arm for the dil**."
It definitely relieved a lot of tension for Hemsworth, however, fans still weren't buying it, and were completely against Heard in the comments section.
