The cast celebrated 5 years since the show began filming today, and Lili took to Twitter to share how her journey had changed ever since. Betty Cooper was her first recurring role on a television series and is the reason behind Lili's overwhelming popularity.

Lili Reinhart Reflects On Her Riverdale Journey

A fan asked the actor about her experiences during the show's filming, which made her emotional. Lili had several to share!

"The beautiful friendships that I've made. I was lucky enough to get this job and call myself a working actress," she shared in the tweet.

The actor added that Riverdale had been instrumental in making her the woman she is today. "It makes me emotional to know that this show and these people have helped craft who I am as a woman now."

Lili has grown up with the cast since joining the series in 2017. Presently, Riverdale season 5 is premiering on The CW and will feature a seven-year time jump, where the high school gang will be seen growing out of their teens and stepping into the real world.

Lili Reinhart's character Betty Cooper will be seen working as an FBI trainee in the later episodes. The actor previously stated she was done playing teenage roles and wanted to express herself better through adult characters.

Lili's Message To Her Younger Self

A fan shared photos of Lili Reinhart and Camila Mendes' characters Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge from the first and fifth season, asking Lili if there was anything she'd want to tell her younger self from the pilot.

"I'd probably say...these people are about to become your family. So cherish getting to know them," she wrote to Twitter.

The actor was in a long-term relationship with her co-star Cole Sprouse, who plays Jughead Jones on the show. The pair split shortly before the filming of the fifth season, but the other cast members seems to be unfazed by it.
