Back on the set of Emily in Paris, Lily Collins has recently given fans a glimpse into a private moment that made it into the first season of the show.

In the Netflix series, Collins plays the titular character: a bubbly, doe-eyed American moving to the city of lights with a baggage full of hope and some clichés on the European way of life.

Despite middling reviews, the show created by Sex and the City’s Darren Star landed two nominations at this year’s Golden Globes: Best Comedy and Best Actress in a Television Series, Musical or Comedy for Collins.

In an episode of the series, Collins’s Emily visits an immersive Van Gogh exhibition with her neighbor Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and his girlfriend Camille (Camille Razat). The moment is romantic and filled with sexual tension, possibly anticipating the show going for a polyamorous relationship in the upcoming season.

In 2019, Collins didn’t just visit the exhibition while in character, she also enjoyed the immersive experience with her fiancé, director Charlie McDowell.

And it seems that Collins can’t get enough of being part of the world of the Dutch painter. The actress, in fact, also visited the exhibition while in Chicago last month.

“After following all of the proper safety measures, I was able to travel to Chicago and wander through this exhibition, which I actually had the pleasure of seeing almost 2 years ago in Paris,” Collins wrote in a post published on Instagram on April 26.

On May 4, the actress took to her Instagram stories to remind fans that the suggestive Van Gogh projections were also incorporated into her show Emily in Paris.

Season Deux Of 'Emily In Paris' Is Currently Filming In France

With season two currently filming in France, Collins also treated fans to a teaser where they’ll be able to spot a few familiar faces.

Alongside Collins, Bravo and Razat, the video sees protagonists Ashley Park, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, and Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu being as excited as Collins about being back on set.

The second season will pick things up following that jaw-dropping final twist, suggesting that the love triangle between Emily, Gabriel and Camille is still alive and kicking.

In real life, Collins is happy with McDowell, whom she got engaged to in September 2020 after one year of dating.
