If you're on TikTok, you've probably seen the antics of two young Italian musicians while scrolling down your For You page. Those two are known on the app as Lionfeld Music, and their names are Emiliano and Matteo. They are absolutely dominating the app, making great jokes and music, all while destroying toxic stereotypes about Italy.

Now with over 4 million followers, the two musicians have gone viral for their hilarious videos about Italian food and culture. Whether it is breaking down Italian stereotypes or telling people how to properly eat their spaghetti, you can get a lot of entertainment from scrolling through their videos. You might also be moved to tears by their beautiful music in the process. This is how these two incredibly talented Italian musicians took over TikTok, and what their future holds.

7 They Don't Like People Wasting Food

A common TikTok trend, and a rather tasteless one, has arisen where people will waste piles and piles of food for various "jokes." Often, these users are trying to mock women or minorities, lampoon themselves, or just behave incredibly strangely while dumping food on their heads, and all just for a little bit of online clout. The Lionfeld boys don't need over the top and wasteful schticks to go viral. They have an honest approach and a part of their schtick is using their musical, and video making, talents to roast these unfunny clout chasers who commit one of the greatest sins to Italians, wasting good food. People are starving, and these two know it and will call it out whenever they need to.

6 They Break Down Italian Stereotypes

While they embrace the trope that Italians love their food they also want to clear some of the more toxic misconceptions about Italy. For some reason, several non-Italian people will make TikToks about how to properly eat pizza "like a real Italian" with a knife and fork. Also, several travel influencers will take to the app to tell the world what they learn about Italian life as a tourist. The Lionfeld team shuts down these attempts to coopt and misrepresent their country regularly. Oh, and FWIW, according to Lionfeld, Italians will cut their pizza with a knife and fork but still eat it by hand. So enough with the fake Italian tips people, it is totally okay to eat pizza with your hands.

5 They Tell Us The Truth About Italian Food

Not only do they break down Italian stereotypes, they break down Italian food as a whole. This doesn't mean they only tell us how to eat pizza properly, their feed is also full of videos telling people about Italian desserts, delicacies, and cooking techniques. Another thing Lionfeld Music will do, besides roasting people who waste food or misrepresent Italy, is stitch videos of people, usually Americans, who improperly cook Italian foods like pasta or pizza. Videos of people putting ketchup on spaghetti, boiling pizza, or otherwise eating their food improperly will not be tolerated by these two proud Italians. But they also have lighthearted, educational videos that teach people about Italian food. Their niche really does cover a lot of ground.

4 They Are Violently ANTI Pineapple On Pizza

In case people lost in the intense online debate about pineapple on pizza wonder how real Italians feel about putting the fruit on a pie, well, according to Emiliano and Matteo, the verdict is a solid NO! Sorry Hawaiian pizza fans, but these authorities of Italian cuisine are not cool with pineapple on pizza. So if you visit Naples or Milan or any other part of Italy, just order a plain cheese, lest you end up in one of their videos.

3 They Will Call Out Problematic Videos

As mentioned before, the two will call out people who waste food, misrepresent Italy, or improperly cook pasta. But the two are also very progressive and forward-thinking individuals who will not be silent when they see instances of bigotry, bullying, or other toxic behavior. Often, people will make horribly mean or insulting TikToks out of desperation to go viral. Emiliano and Matteo will have none of it.

2 They Show Us What Italian McDonald's Is Like

But when they aren't lampooning bad Italian cooking or shutting down Italian stereotypes, the pair will take a trip to Mickey D's. One of their most popular bits is when they stitch videos about what an Italian McDonald's serve and go to the drive-thru to try the Italian McDonald's options. In one video they learn you can get parmesan at McDonald's in Italy so they give it a try. According to Matteo, "It's a good parmesan."

1 They're Good Musicians

Most of their videos will have the pair strumming a guitar and singing their jokes and punchlines, and while the bit is often hilarious, it should also be noted that their music is pretty darn good. Their voices are lovely and their classical guitar riffs are hauntingly sweet, mellow, and tranquil. The pair also have a Twitch, Discord, and YouTube channel where one can stream their music. They are also on Spotify. No word yet on whether or not they have landed a recording contract or not but with their talent, their flair for humor, and millions of followers, the pair has a bright future in music and comedy.
