They are the only girl group to have won The X Factor UK, and five albums later, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, and Jade Thirlwall are still going strong as Little Mix. Their success has also crossed over to the USA, where the girl group has enjoyed plenty of chart success with a range of hits, including 'Shout Out to My Ex,' 'Touch,' and 'Wings.'

Despite all of their success, there have been problems. In 2018 - following endless disagreements with their former label boss (the rich, famous, and powerful Simon Cowell), the group cut ties with the music mogul and then signed a new deal with RCA Records. This label will distribute their forthcoming seventh studio album later this year.

With over 50 million albums and singles sold worldwide, Little Mix has broken records formerly held by the likes of Fifth Harmony, Destiny's Child, and Spice Girls. But what else is there to know about these four women? Here's the lowdown.

13 They Were Originally Called Rhythmix

Before she won the competition with her Little Mix members, Jade Thirlwall competed in the singing competition twice. She failed to make it through to the live shows in 2008 and 2010, but things were looking up for her when she came back the following year. That's when she was placed in a girl group formed by Simon Cowell.

11 Their Debut Single Shot Straight To No. 1

Following their win on The X Factor UK in 2011, Little Mix released their debut single, ‘Cannonball,’ which became one of the best-selling songs of the year - and it only came out in December of that year. It was clear at that point that these girls were bound for chart domination, no matter what they were planning to release next.
