Lizzo continues being candid about her crush on Chris Evans in a new video where she twerks on an impersonator of Evans’ superhero character: Captain America.
Earlier this year, the Juice singer drunkenly slid into the MCU star’s DMs sparking rumors of a flirty friendship between the two of them.
Lizzo Twerks On Captain America Impersonator And Tags Chris Evans
The Grammy-winning artist posted a clip of her and her friend and hairstylist Shelby Swain twerking on a Captain America impersonator on May 11.
The video went viral and was reposted by celerity gossip page @deuxmoi.discussions yesterday (May 30) garnering excited comments from fans.
“official @chrisevans update,” Lizzo captioned the video, including a carefully selected set of emojis: tongue, dancing twins and fire symbols.
“Its the way Shelby toook her earring off smoov and ain’t stopped,” singer SZA commented.
“THE CAPTION IS SENDING ME LMAO,” another follower wrote.
“Literally all of us to Chris,” was one comment.
While Evans doesn’t seem to have reacted to the tag in public, there is a chance he might have reached out to Lizzo in private, especially after their DM exchange.
What Did Lizzo Write To Chris Evans?
In April this year, Lizzo revealed she had drunkenly slid into Evans’ DMs. In a video posted to her TikTok, it is revealed that Lizzo's message consisted of only three emojis, which included a puff of smoke, a woman playing handball and a basketball, suggesting she was just shooting her shot.
"Don't drunk and DM, kids.... for legal porpoises this is a joke,” Lizzo captioned the video.
A day later, the singer followed-up with yet another clip, including Chris Evans' reply to her.
"No shame in a drunk DM," Evans wrote to Lizzo, adding a kiss emoji.
"God knows I've done worse on this app lol," he added, sharing a facepalm emoji and making a reference to his former NSFW Instagram stories.
He also started following her on Instagram.
Lipsyncing to TikTok star's Tatayanna Mitchell's popular audio, Lizzo repeated, "The reason I'm upset about this one is because I know I'm not gonna be able to marry him and honestly, it hurts me to the core. Because damn papa, he a rare breed, no comparing. Like, Chris...."
