Disney+ series Loki aired its finale last week, giving fans a glimpse of the next big villain in the MCU. The God of Mischief and his many variants will return to the show's second season, but until then, we have plenty of scoops from the creators to keep fans going!

For instance, it was revealed recently that Chris Hemsworth actually voiced a cameo as Throg for the series which was cut.

Chris Hemsworth's Throg Knocked Out Loki

Although Loki did feature a blink-and-you'll-miss-it Throg cameo in the penultimate episode, it cut out the scene Hemsworth had worked on for the same.

When Loki and his variants descended into the underground hatch they call home, the camera panned on different abandoned items such as the Asgardian God of Thunder's hammer Mjolnir, before focusing on a glass jar containing Throg.

It's an easily missable cameo, but if you watch closely, you'll notice Throg looks just like the comic-book version and was sporting his red cape and helmet. Turns out, Hemsworth actually recorded a full voice-over for the scene, which revolved around Thor being furious that Loki had turned him into a frog.

"We did a full record with Chris Hemsworth being very p***ed off that Loki has turned him into a frog and he winded up knocking the s**t out of Loki," said Paul Zucker who is an editor on the show.

He added: "I've seen a lot of people asking themselves why the scene ended up on the cutting room floor: It got cut for pace, it didn't contribute enough to the story to keep it in....we were all very sad when it got cut, it was a tough one."
The MCU films haven't really mentioned Throg, except for a scene in Thor: Ragnarok, where Matt Damon (who portrayed fake Loki during a play) apologizes to fake Thor (played by Luke Hemsworth) for turning him into a frog.
