Not many fans know that Lourdes Leon, the daughter of Madonna aka the Queen of Pop, was in a relationship with Oscar-nominated actor Timothée Chalamet. Unlike her globally-famous musician mother, Lourdes has lived a relatively quiet life over the years and only joined Instagram recently.
In the interview, Lourdes dished on her relationship with the Call Me By Your Name actor and said they were "a little item".
Lourdes Went To High School With Timothée
The 24-year-old opened up about her past relationship in the rare interview. Lourdes recalled attending Manhattan's Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, where she met Timothée, who also went to school there.
Talking about her relationship with Chalamet, who was an aspiring actor and her high school sweetheart back then, Lourdes said "I respect him a lot, we were a little item. My first boyfriend."
She also shared some scoop on Ansel Elgort, who was "a terrible DJ" and also went to the same school as Leon and Chalamet.
Madonna fans could hardly believe the news, and some weren't aware she had a daughter. Others, who had enthusiastically kept track of their teenage romance shared pictures of the pair from years ago, where they're seen all dressed up for an event of sorts.
Another fan shared a photo; a paparazzi view of the pair who appear to be on a casual date. "they were cute," they wrote in the tweet.
Another user had a bit of an issue with Lourdes' words that described her relationship. "A 'LITTLE ITEM'? Me describing the cinnamon roll flavored chapstick that I panic picked while waiting to check out at Target ."
Leon has obviously moved on from her past romance and is now known to be in a relationship with hairdresser Jonathan Puglia.
Chalamet too, is reportedly dating Lily-Rose Depp, his co-star from The King once again. The two split last year after a year of dating, but were recently seen shopping together at a Manhattan-based boutique, where Timothée bought his lady love a dress.
It appears that Lourdes and Timothée's relationship fizzled out as soon as it began, and the young celebrities eventually went their own ways.
