Scandals involving celebrities are incredibly common; from cheating to fraud, and even private tapes, by now we all probably think that we've read it all. And it seems to usually be the same celeb culprits who have committed the outrageous behaviors, right? Wrong! Even some of the nicest celebs in the world make mistakes, and some are more lasting than others. For example, these 15 celebs strayed and ended up having a love child.

And while some of the celebs on our list were willing to admit to their paternity and wanted to become involved in their child's life, others refuse to acknowledge that the child is theirs still to this day — even though the evidence is overwhelming. This list just proves that no matter how sweet we think someone is, that doesn't make them perfect.

15 Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnold Schwarzenegger had an affair with the family housekeeper, Mildred Patricia Baena, while he was still married to his (now ex) wife, Maria Shriver. Shriver and Schwarzenegger already had four children together, but in 1997 he fathered yet another son, a love child with Baena, who was born just five days after his Arnold's other son, Christopher.

Mildred named her son Joseph Baena and for years the world had no idea that he was Schwarzenegger's son. According to reports, as Joseph started to grow up, he began to look more and more like his father. In 2011, however, Schwarzenegger finally admitted to his wife that Joseph was his biological son.

The good news is that Arnold and Joseph have forged a relationship, with Schwarzenegger even publicly telling his son that he was proud of him and that he loved him. However, Arnold's wandering eye left him divorced and a new father.

14 Steven Tyler

Of all the love children on this list, Steven Tyler's daughter, Liv, is the most famous. Tyler had a brief relationship with Liv's mother, fashion model Bebe Buell, in 1977. Buell later gave birth to Liv, who only found out that the famous musician was her father when she turned eight. Before this time, she had believed that her stepfather, Todd Rundgren, was her biological father.

Liv previously spoke about how she first discovered her dad was Steven Tyler during an interview on The Jonathan Ross Show. She said, "I kind of figured it out because he looked exactly like me and I have a sister named Mia who is a year younger than me and I saw her standing at the side of the stage at a concert and I was literally like looking at my twin."

13 Hugh Grant

There was a period of time in which Hugh Grant was a very busy man, and he managed to father four children in just four years. In 2012, Grant had his second child, a son named John Mungo, born to television producer, Anna Eberstein.

John was born in September of 2012, but according to Us Weekly, the actor was not registered on the birth certificate as the father until the following year. Before the birth of John Mungo, however, Grant had a daughter, Tabitha, with a restaurant hostess, Tinglan Hong, and not long after John Mungo's birth, he had a second child with Hong, a son named Felix (born just three months after John Mungo).

But wait, it gets even more complicated. Following the birth of Felix, Grant then went on to have another child with Eberstein, which was reportedly a baby girl. So that's four babies with two different women.

12 Eddie Murphy

Eddie Murphy is beloved for his comedic roles, but his battle with former Spice Girl, Mel B, over the paternity of his daughter, Angel Iris Murphy Brown, was anything but funny.

Murphy and Mel B had split in the summer of 2006, and Angel Iris was born in April of 2007. At the time, Murphy refused to acknowledge that he was the father, even going so far as to state that without a blood test he would not know whose child she was. A DNA test did confirm that Murphy was Angel Iris' father.

In 2010, during an episode of Mel B's reality TV show, Mel B: It's A Scary World, she recalled how the custody battle had been a "horrible time," but added that Murphy was now spending time with his daughter.

11 P Diddy

Sean 'P Diddy' Combs is a father to six children, but only one was the product of an affair.

Combs was in a relationship with Kim Porter, who gave birth to the couple's twin daughters, D'Lila Star and Jessie James, on Dec. 21, 2006. Although Kim was thrilled to be pregnant with her perfect girls, it was while pregnant that she learned of Combs affair with Sarah Chapman. Chapman gave birth to a daughter, Chance, only five months before the twins due date...

In September of 2007, Porter spoke to Essence magazine about Combs' affair, and how she had wished that he had told her about it himself rather than finding out through the grapevine. Still, it is what it is, and the good news is that Combs appears to have a relationship with all of his children.

In June of 2017 he posed for a rare photo with all six of them at the Can't Stop, Won't Stop: The Bad Boy Story premiere in Los Angeles. And he also regularly posts photos of his children on social media, along with the hashtag, #FamilyFirst.

10 Liam Gallagher

Oasis singer Liam Gallagher was married to Nicole Appleton when he fathered a child with American music writer, Liza Ghorbani. Gallagher reportedly decided to tell his then-wife about his indiscretions over the phone, and it resulted in Appleton leaving him.

But that wasn't the last of it. What followed was a lengthy child support battle between Gallagher and Ghorbani — who, according to The Mirror, he met in 2010 when she was doing a piece on him and his daughter Gemma for the New York Times. Gemma was born in January of 2013, and in March of 2015, it was revealed that the pair had reached a settlement, although it remains confidential. It's unclear whether Gallagher has a relationship with Gemma, but she is the rocker's fourth child.

9 Bow Wow

Bow Wow, whose real name is Shad Gregory Moss, is yet another celeb who had a secret love child. In June of 2011, Bow Wow became a father to a daughter, Shai, with model Joie Chavis. At first he denied reports, but later admitted that the rumors were true by taking to his website in July to discuss how fast his daughter was growing and to confess to loving "every minute of it [being a father]."

He also revealed why he hadn't just fessed up from the beginning, writing, "I waited so long to tell y'all the truth because I was nervous on how y'all would look at me. Y'all know everyone makes a big deal out of everything I do. I wanted to be 1st n [sic] let y'all know the real."

While he may have taken a long time to admit that he was a father, six years on, Bow Wow has definitely warmed up to it and his social account are now filled with photos of himself and Shai.

8 Chris Brown

The arrival of Chris Brown's adorable little girl, Royalty, was the start of one relationship (with his daughter) and the end of his relationship with longtime girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.

In March of 2015, reports first emerged that Brown had a 9-month-old daughter with former model, Nia Guzman-Amey. According to TMZ, at the time the pair were not together romantically, but they were amicable. However, in the years that have followed, they have been involved in child support and custody disputes. Guzman-Amey wants to retain full-custody of her daughter, a request which a Californian judge denied.

The good news is that Brown has a great relationship with his little girl and appears to really love her (he's even dedicated songs to her, and his sixth solo album is entitled, Royalty). He also seems to spend a lot of time with her, and she makes regular appearances on his social media.

7 Tom Jones

Tom Jones has denied that he has had a love child for more than 20 years. His son, Jonathan Berkery, was born after a four-day affair with American Katherine Berkery, which reportedly took place in his hotel room in the New York Ritz-Carlton hotel in 1987.

Katherine was determined to get Jones to acknowledge that Jonathan was his son. She requested DNA tests, and a lengthy legal battle ensued. While Jones reportedly finally agreed to pay monthly child support, as well as give her a lump payout, he refused to publicly admit that Jonathan was his child. This rejection caused a number of problems for Jonathan, who told Daily Mail, "I was one angry kid — I wanted to legitimately kill people." He also admits to taking drugs to numb the pain and the resentment of his father's rejection.

6 DMX

Earl Simmons, better known as DMX, has a lot of children. I mean, when I last stopped counting the tally was at a whopping total of 15. DMX's last child was a son, Exodus Simmons, who the rapper welcomed with girlfriend Desiree Lindstrom in August of 2016. However, prior to this relationship, he was married to Tashera Simmons and had multiple affairs, and children, outside of their union.

While Tashera bore DMX four children, she eventually had enough of his cheating ways (he also fathered 10 other children during this time) and she filed for divorce in 2012.

According to Daily Mail, in 2013 DMX was paying child support in excess of $1 million. And in 2015, DMX was unable to afford his child support, which reportedly resulted in him being sentenced to six months in prison for the failure to pay $400,000.

5 Chuck Norris

There are so many Chuck Norris memes on the Internet, but while fans know most things about his life, something that's not so well-reported is his love child. According to Contact Music, in Norris' Against All Odds: My Story, he revealed how he became a father in 1962, after cheating on his wife, Dianne Holechek.

He reportedly had a brief fling with a woman named Johanna while he was stationed with the United States Air Force in California. Norris reportedly never told her that he was married. He also had no idea that he was a father to a girl named Dina until she wrote to him in 1991, informing him that she was his biological daughter. According to the publication, Norris wrote in his book that he didn't need any DNA tests to confirm the paternity, because when he met Dina it was as though he had known her all his life.

4 Eric Clapton

Eric Clapton was reported to have fathered a "secret love child" during his affair with Yvonne Kelly (while he was married to first wife Pattie Boyd). However, he only got to know her in 1991 when she was just 6 years old, following the death of his 4-year-old son, Conor.

Then in 2015, Clapton and his daughter had a fallout after Ruth reportedly shared personal information on Twitter. According to Express, Clapton and his wife, Melia, had asked Ruth not to post anything private, including pictures of them on social media. They reportedly asked her to delete everything, which she did, but she was not happy about it and felt as though she was being treated as a child.

Ruth later tweeted about how she and her father no longer have a relationship.

3 Flo Rida

Flo Rida reportedly hooked up with a woman named Alexis Adams in December of 2015, and according to court documents obtained by TMZ, the two had relations until the middle of the following January. Several months later, a son, Zohar Paxton, was born in September of 2016, and according to Adams, the child is Flo Rida's, something which the musician clearly didn't want to believe.

Despite having a DNA test done in December of 2016, which proved with 99.99% certainty that the child was Flo Rida's, according to TMZ, he is still not willing to pay child support. According to legal documents filed by Adams, she desperately needs the money to help cover the expenses of their child's medical treatments as he reportedly has hydrocephalus.

2 Mathew Knowles

Mathew Knowles is already a father to two famous children, Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, but he also fathered a son, Nixon, while he was still married to the famous siblings' mother, Tina Knowles.

Nixon was the product of an affair with Canadian actress, Alexsandra Wright, and in 2014 she claimed that Mathew had fallen behind on his court-ordered child support, although he denied this claim.

The revelation that Tina's husband had been unfaithful resulted in her filing for divorce in 2009, after more than three decades of marriage (Wright has since offered a sort of apology to Tina, in a statement in which she explained that she regrets the pain she's caused). Beyoncé also fired her father as her manager not long after the divorce, coincidence?

1 Jesse Jackson

In 2014 it was revealed that political activist, Rev. Jesse Jackson had an affair with a politics professor named Karin Stanford, and the product of their relations resulted in a what Stanford describes as a "miracle baby," a daughter named Ashley. The pregnancy was completely unexpected because Stanford had previously undergone chemotherapy.

The affair lasted for four years, while Jackson was married to Jacqueline Brown. Stanford shed light on her relationship during an interview with ABC News, and claimed that since the affair became public, things between her and Jackson have been complicated. Especially after he asked her to sign a confidentiality agreement, which she thought was an insult because she had already kept the affair, and their daughter, a secret for years. After all, she fell pregnant in 1988!

At the time of the interview she also claimed that Jackson had not seen much of his daughter in recent months either.
