The drama may have gone down in 2005, but fans are still talking about it today: the love triangle between Jude Law, Sienna Miller, and Daniel Craig.

As Vanity Fair first reported back in 2014, the details of Jude Law's breakup from Sienna Miller became even clearer following a court deposition involving a wiretapping scandal.

Before he got cozy with Jude's then-girlfriend, Daniel Craig was friends with his fellow actor. The two were in 'Road to Perdition' together in 2002, but then Daniel Craig was in 'Layer Cake' with Sienna in 2004. At some point after that, the two got a bit closer than they did on screen.

But how did the news break that Sienna was stepping out with Daniel? Well, that's the tricky part. A journalist named Dan Evans hacked Daniel Craig's voice mail, retrieving a message that came from Sienna Miller's phone number.

The journalist pretended that the recording had been anonymously delivered to the newspaper 'News of the World,' then wrote up a story about Sienna cheating on Jude. The story was delayed, however, because Daniel Craig denied any involvement with Sienna at first.

But as the court heard during the hacking trial, Jude Law's "spokesperson" later "approved" the story, and it went public.

Years later, Sienna would say of the situation, "I'm very lucky to have a second chance... I sabotaged things. I burnt a lot of bridges." Yeah, her publicly broadcast confession of love to Daniel Craig while dating Jude Law probably didn't help her career prospects...

After all, her relationship with Jude was what propelled Sienna to the spotlight in the first place, noted Evening Express. The publication quoted Sienna as saying that she wished her relationship hadn't been the headline.

She and Jude met in 2003, got engaged in 2004, but then broke up permanently when Jude stepped out with his children's nanny in 2006. For some reason, though, Jude's dalliance was publicized much more than Sienna's.

While Jude was villanized, especially for having multiple kids (he just welcomed his sixth child) with different women, fans were satisfied with ignoring Sienna's relationship with Daniel. After all, her comments (saying "I love you") were "misconstrued," the actress claimed. She said Daniel was her "best friend."

Jude seemed to disagree, though, based on reports of his official testimony in the hacking case. He reportedly said that he learned about Sienna cheating by way of that newspaper story. Further, he called Daniel to confront him, and the conversation 'took all sorts of turns,' noted Jude.

As for Daniel, Hollywood's next reigning James Bond, life only got better. Daniel got his Hollywood romance with Rachel Weisz, whom he'd known for decades but took a while to finally come full circle with.

While plenty of fans continue to fawn over Daniel Craig as Bond, others point out that a long list of other candidates could play a better 007 than the actor. And he may have more in common with the womanizing James Bond than fans imagined.
