Machine Gun Kelly had a lot of people scratching their heads after his performance at the Billboard Music Awards 2022 Sunday night. Not only did the rocker refer to Megan Fox as his wife, but he dedicated his performance to their “unborn child,” sparking speculation that the couple has wed and are expecting their first child together.

Did Machine Gun Kelly Just Announce That He And Megan Fox Were Married...And Expecting?

The rapper-turned-rocker took the stage in Las Vegas to perform his song Twin Flame, a not-so-subtle nod to Megan’s belief that the lovebirds are two halves of the same soul. Before performing the track, he made a surprising announcement: "I wrote this song for my wife.”

As if that wasn’t enough to get people talking, near the end of his emotional performance, he followed up with, “This is for our unborn child,” as the sound of a heartbeat filled the room.

MGK popped the question earlier this year while the couple was vacationing in Puerto Rico. The rocker surprised the actress—who he met while filming their movie Midnight in the Switchgrass—with a custom-designed ring that reportedly cost $1.8 million. The two haven’t publicly announced that they’d married—aside from The Blonde Don referring to Megan as his wife on Sunday.

After The Show, The Couple Gave (Some) Context To The Track

After the show, MGK tweeted about the ballad, telling his 1.6 million followers that it “broke my heart to sing the end of that song.”

"I recorded twin flame 2 years ago today the second half came a year later. beautifully serendipitous getting to sing it for you tonight," he added in a second tweet.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, MGK revealed that he penned the song exactly two years before his performance at the BBMAs, and then he played it for his beau first.

"I wrote this song two years ago exactly today, I played it for her, it's all a trip, it's like it's all meant to be,” MGK recalled before Megan interjected: "Yeah, there's like super special secret meaning to the song as well. So, I'm sure I will be [emotional].”

While it’s still unclear if the couple has wed, or if Megan is pregnant, the performance sure has fans buzzing about the possibility.
