Madonna is a legend, so naturally that means she hangs out with other legends. The "Express Yourself" singer shared a photo to her Instagram Story on Friday hanging out with Sir Paul McCartney. The context, location, and purpose behind their meeting isn't known. However, it's only fitting that the Queen of Pop would be hanging out with the ex-Beatle, since her record sales are in the ballpark of his former band.

Madonna has been on a roll ever since her new compilation album, "Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones," was released last month. The remix album is a collection of all 50 number ones Madonna received on the Billboard Dance Chart. Madonna's 50th number one, for the song "I Don't Search I Find," broke a record. That record being the most number one entries of any artist on any Billboard chart.

The album itself debuted at number eight on the Billboard 200 albums chart. This was another history making accomplishment. With this chart entry, Madonna became the first female artist to have top 10 albums in every decade since the 1980s. She is the tenth act overall to achieve this.

The other male acts include AC/DC, Def Leppard, Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Robert Plant, Prince, Bruce Springsteen James Taylor, and Madonna's new friend Paul McCartney.

Madonna recently spoke to Honey Dijon for V Magazine, whose remix of her most recent dance number one is included on the album.

"Putting this project together was like taking a trip down memory lane," Madonna said regarding the album's process. "It was a cathartic, emotional experience and brought back so many memories. I realized how hard I’ve worked, and what an adventurous musical life I’ve led! Most importantly, it made me realize how meaningful dance music has always been to me."

Madonna also spoke about the various changes in musical production. This is something we're sure McCartney has also observed over the years.

"It’s so different from the early ‘80s up until now," she said. "The music from the ‘80s has a naivety to it and a simplicity which I love and I miss, but then we have this new awesome technology at our fingertips and we can make synths sound like a voice, and a voice sound like a percussionist instrument or violins. It’s easier to create quickly!"

Perhaps McCartney and Madonna have discussed these changes too. It would be absolutely amazing if they ever took what they've learned and collaborated on a song!
