Last month, Nick Cannon welcomed a baby with rumored girlfriend Alyssa Scott, his fourth child in just the span of a year.

The Masked Singer host has been called out by people on social media for having seven children with four different women, including his ex-wife Mariah Carey. Now, the Grammy Award-winning singer is finally speaking out about her ex-husband’s controversial behavior.

An anonymous source connected to Carey says that she doesn’t approve of Cannon deliberately having children with so many women, according to Gossip Cop. The source said the singer is “beyond concerned that Nick’s little baby boom will affect his family time with their twins, Moroccan and Monroe.”

The two tied the knot in 2008, and later got divorced in 2016. Following their separation, the Wild N Out host had two children (Powerful Queen and Golden) with supermodel Brittany Bell, a set of twins (Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir) with Abby De La Rosa, and now a newborn son (Zen) with Scott.

“She thinks Nick is being irresponsible and reckless,” the source continued. “Mariah really wants and needs Nick to be an active presence in their kids’ lives.”

The source went on to say the singer is worried that Cannon will be an absent father to the children. Even though she said the comedian has “enough love to give,” Carey is concerned that some of the children will be neglected and won’t receive the attention they deserve from a parent.

“He swears he has enough love and enough time to be a great parent to all his children, but his attention is going to be divided every which way!” the source added.

The remarks made by the "Always Be My Baby" singer come after Cannon made some controversial comments on his radio show.

Earlier this month, the actor and comedian admitted on Power 106 Los Angeles that he’s been “having these kids on purpose.”

“I don’t have no accident,” he explained. “Trust me, there’s a lot of people that I could’ve gotten pregnant that I didn’t. The ones that got pregnant are the ones that were supposed to get pregnant.”

The radio host went on to compare himself to a seahorse and said, “ That's just the way I'm procreating."
