After saying their "I do's" without ever having met, fans have been witnessing the journey of five couples: Bao and Johnny, Michaela and Zack, Brett and Ryan, Jose and Rachel, and Myrla and Gil.
Although things didn't get off to a smooth start for most of the couples, things slowly but surely fell into place, well...that is until they didn't. Now, decision day has officially arrived, and the married couple have expressed whether they wish to remain together or get a divorce.
Considering fans have turned against Johnny, it was no surprise that Bao wanted a divorce, despite Johnny wishing to give things another go. While this took immense courage for Bao, she wasn't the only one to make the tough decision to ask for a divorce!
Bao Wants To Divorce Johnny
Bao and Johnny seemed like the most promising couple at the start of this season of Married At First Sight, especially considering the two had previously met during their time in college. Well, despite the two having a good start, things turned sour quite fast between Bao and Johnny, leaving fans to turn against Johnny, and fast!
Johnny began to show signs of emotional immaturity and narcissicm when it came to their marriage, which didn't sit well with Bao. Things went from bad to worse when Johnny went behind Bao's back to talk about their marriage to her friend Sarah, who doesn't seem to be too much of a friend to Bao.
Well, when decision day come about, Bao and Johnny agreed that their marriage definiely had some highs, however, the lows were enough for Bao to want out! Johnny expressed his desire to stay married, while Bao made it clear she wanted a divorce. Viewers couldn't be happier for Bao, who clearly deserved far better than what Johnny had to offer.
Zack Also Opts To Divorce Michaela
Well, turns out, Bao wasn't the only one who wanted a divorce! During Zack and Michaela's sit down with the experts, he wrote out a letter illustrating he and Michaela's marriage, all before breaking down into tears. While it seemed as if Zack was headed toward a "yes" decision, he stunned fans after declaring he wanted a divorce!
Michaela on the other hand opted to stay together, however, with Zack clearly wanting out, it seems as if the two are long and gone. Now, rumors claim Zack is allegedly dating Bao and after Michaela took to her Instagram to speak on the matter, it seems as if the rumors might be true!
Love Is Still In The Air For Myrla And Gil
While Bao and Zack both wanted a divorce, it seems as if love is still very much in the air for Myrla and Gil. The duo have definitely had their ups and downs, particularly when it came to the couple's financial differences, however, that wasn't enough to break them up.
During their sit down with Dr. Pepper, Myrla and Gil both said "yes" to staying married, and are not only looking forward to living married life outside of the show, but are also interested in consumating the marriage as quickly as possibly!
Brett And Ryan Officially Call It Quits
Brett and Ryan have made it clear from a few week's back that they weren't meant to be together! This became evident when Ryan downloaded a dating app while still married, which Pastor Calvin called him out on during their sit down. Ryan expressed his apologies for having done that, however, both he and Brett opted to divorce, proving that they weren't going to make it anyways.
