Marvel fans are celebrating Paul Bettany's latest win. The WandaVision actor was recognized by GQ for the Boss Leading Man of the Year award.

GQ's Men of the Year 2021 Awards happened on Wednesday, September 1. At this show, many A-list male actors were recognized for their impressive performances and public philanthropy. This annual award show trended online as it highlighted major cultural icons such as Rege-Jean Page from Bridgerton, renowned director Quentin Tarantino, and Marvel's Bettany.

Fans were excited for Bettany as he has always been humble about his jaw-dropping talent and crucial role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In January 2021, the actor confided to Men's Health that he never thought he'd be leading a Marvel television series.

Bettany shared, "I did not expect that at all. I didn’t expect anything. I know I made Kevin [Feige] and Jon [Favreau] and Joss Whedon laugh, and we all had a good time while I was having the voice work." He continued: "I guess it’s a lesson in being well-mannered, because I guess when they had a job vacancy, they went 'Hey, how about that Paul fellow?' And that was really it. And cut to doing this TV show."

Things have taken a full 180 as the actor's role has led to him being named GQ's Boss Leading Man of the Year in 2021.

Sharing the news, GQ wrote: "#Marvel fans rejoice #WandaVision star @Paul_Bettany wins the Boss Leading Man category at this year's #GQAwards."

Fans rejoiced in the comments, leaving supportive and heartfelt messages about the Vision actor. One fan wrote, "I'm honestly so happy for Paul. He deserves everything and more. He's an incredibly talented actor that usually goes under the radar, and he's getting the recognition he deserves. His work in "Uncle Frank" as well as "WandaVision" was phenomenal. Here's to many more!"

"What a pleasure and a privilege it was to see and get to take a photo with Mr. @Paul_Bettany tonight outside GQ’s Man of the Year Awards. Thank you very much," wrote a second fan who managed to get a snap with Bettany.
