Marvel Fans Obsessed With Star-Lord and Thor's New Look

Avengers: Endgame wasn't exactly a treat for fans of the Asgardian god of thunder, who abandoned his muscular physique for....a belly. The new film serves as a sequel to Thor: Ragnarok and will follow him on new adventures, inspired by the comics of Marvel writer Jason Aaron.

Although Taika Waititi and the studio haven't shared any details on the synopsis yet, if the comics are to be believed, we will see Thor lose his ability to wield Mjolnir. Jane Foster will take over his role, as she continues to battle cancer as a human.

Earlier today, photos from the sets revealed Thor and Star-Lord's costumes in the film, along with a glimpse at Nebula and Kraglin. Chris Pratt (Star-Lord) especially has caught the eyes of MCU fans, who fans think looks "amazing". He really does.

A fan wrote, "Star lord Looks older and Thor looks awesome in that first pic. Something about it feels very 70s and 80s."

"From that side Star-Lord looks like a Destiny Warlock and now I think that would be a perfect look for the character," shared another.

A fan made a reference back to the superhero's Avengers: Endgame days, writing "Thor's back in shape after the beer and pizza diet...."

Karen Gillan and Sean Gunn were also seen in costume as Nebula and Kraglin!

The film also stars Christian Bale (Gorr The Butcher), Tessa Thompson, Matt Damon, Dave Bautista among others.

Other stills revealed there was a white horse at the sets, suggesting Thor: Love And Thunder will feature many moments between Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) and her white winged-horse, Aragorn.

"I also want more Jane, Valkyrie, and Sif interactions please," a fan wrote, and others shared their approval for Thor's new look. "The long hair and long beard gives him that old Norse look. I'm with it."

Thor: Love And Thunder is set to release in February, 2022!
