On March 16th, an incredible thing happened: the new Infinity War trailer was released and Marvel fans all over the world were flabbergasted. We're looking forward to watching this movie so much that even the tiniest details we see in teasers and trailers make us super-excited. If the first trailer showed us some interesting plot twists and superhero encounters, the second trailer revealed even more details. Some of them are dark and serious, while others are really funny. Having watched the second trailer, like, a thousand times, we marveled at these details and now we know what  to expect from Infinity War.

While the movie release date is approaching (April 26th), behold the new Infinity War trailer breakdown with all the most interesting hints and Easter eggs we spotted there!

15 War Machine Is Back In The Game

Via: Twitter

In Captain America: Civil War, when the Avengers split in half and had a huge fight in the airport, James Rhodes (aka Rhodey, aka War Machine) was the one who sustained the most damage. He fell off a huge height and got a serious injury. Fortunately, he made it and got well.

As we see in the first seconds of the Infinity War trailer, Iron Man's best friend feels much better and is even able to get into his suit again. We're looking forward to seeing him fighting for the good cause with our heroes. All tensions and disagreements aside, they all have only one goal, right?

We can also see Natasha Romanoff (aka Black Widow) and Bruce Banner (the Hulk) standing beside Rhodey. It means that the two will meet for the first time since Age of Ultron. Does it also mean that the romance is back on? We'll see.

14 'Just Like That'

Via: whatculture

In the beginning of the trailer, we can hear Gamora telling Tony Stark about Thanos. She says, "The entire time I knew him, he only ever had one goal: to wipe out half the universe," and adds, "If he gets all the Infinity Stones, he can do it with a snap of his fingers. Just like that."

You might think that it's just a figure of speech, but it's actually a hint at the fact that Thanos did destroy half the universe with the snap of his fingers in Marvel comics right after he found all the Infinity Stones. It gives some sense of urgency to our heroes, doesn't it? Fortunately, we know that the movie is going to be different from the comic book, so we hope that it isn't going to happen.

Now imagine how you're going to feel if the movie actually ends with a snap of his fingers and ends with a black screen.

13 Spider-Man Quickly Decides To Act

Via: denofgeek

In the first trailer of Infinity War, we saw Spider-Man sitting in a school bus, getting his spidey feelings on his skin, looking out of the window, and seeing a giant round object hanging above New York. The scene in the second trailer seems to be the continuation of the previous one. Peter Parker gets out of the bus and puts on his Spider-Man mask. Does that mean that Peter's classmates are going to see that he's one of the superheroes they admire? If they do, I'm looking forward to seeing the expressions on their faces.

In fact, something so serious is going to happen in the film that it's obvious that all the secrecy will go to rack and ruin. The entire universe is at stake, right?

12 Iron Man's Suit Modification

Via: wegotthiscovered

With every new MCU movie that features Iron Man, we see that Stark keeps on working on modifications for his suit. This time, we see an important modification even in the trailer, so we can only suggest what else we're going to see in the movie. We can see that Stark added an awesome rocket booster to the legs of the suit, so now Iron Man is officially able to fly into space with an enormous speed.

However, it seems that this speed is still not enough to get to this strange object hanging over New York. In the trailer, it seems that it flies much faster and, most likely, Stark won't be able to get to it. But, perhaps, that's exactly the way he managed to find Guardians of the Galaxy?

11 'We Have What Thanos Wants'

Via: technobuffalo

We can hear Stark's words "We have what Thanos wants, so that's what we use" in the second trailer. And we all know what Thanos wants: he's gathering all Infinity Stones into his Gauntlet. We also know that at least two stones are on Earth; Doctor Strange has the Time Stone in his pendant and Vision has Mind Stone right inside his head.

So it's no wonder that Vision looks really worried in the trailer. We're aware that something horrible might be waiting for our favorite android (in the first trailer we saw him losing the stone) and we have no idea if he can live without Mind Stone in his head. But, according to Stark's plan, the Avengers might try to use the stones they have against Thanos. Perhaps, Vision will become bait?

10 Half Of The Avengers Arrive In Wakanda

Via: screenrant

Here we can see that half Earth's mightiest heroes arrived in Wakanda. There're Cap (Steve Rogers), Black Widow (Nat Romanoff), War Machine (Rhodey), Falcon (Sam Wilson), the Hulk (Bruce Banner), Scarlet Witch (Wanda Maximoff), and Vision (ex-Jarvis). We can remember from the post credit scenes of Black Panther that Bucky Barnes (aka Winter Soldier, or perhaps we should call him White Wolf?) is already there. T'Challa (aka Black Panther) is happy to see the team, and all of them seem to know that something bad is going to start happening soon.

In the first trailer, we saw Banner, Stark, and Doctor Strange together in New York. But it's evident from the second trailer that the three genius superheroes decided to separate. So Banner ended up going to Wakanda. Where did the other two go? We'll come back to them.

9 Shuri Is Investigating Vision

Via: Reddit

Of course we all remember Shuri from Black Panther. She's T'Challa's sister, Princess of Wakanda, and a young genius. Possessing all the technologies of Wakanda, the girl came up with a huge number of inventions in a lot of spheres; from superhero gear to medical treatment. She didn't only manage to cure Agent Ross' serious spinal injury in Black Panther, but also treated Bucky and, most likely, eliminated his brainwashing.

In the trailer, we could briefly see Shuri investigating Vision. We hope that she will bring some modifications into the android's body that will help him survive after he loses the Mind Stone. Or maybe Vision will get some extra powers that will sustain him. All is good, as long as this sweet Vibranium guy keeps on living.

8 We're Up To A Lot Of Fun

Via: coed

We all enjoyed Tony Stark's and Star Lord's jokes in separate movies, but now we're going to see these two hilarious characters together in one. Just imagine the jokes they're going to crack on each other! Already in the trailer, we could get a glimpse of what to expects. When Star Lord said to Tony, "Let's talk about this plan of yours. I think it's good, except... it sucks, so let me do the plan, and that way, it might be really good" and Stark answered with a short "Wow!" *Cue the giggles!*

It means that even though the movie is going to be rather dark and a lot of perils will expect our favorite characters, it'll also be full of fun. As usual, Marvel won't let the audience get bored and combine action with humor and wit.

7 Thor's New Weapon?

Via: Twitter

Obviously, we all remember that Thor lost his hammer in Thor: Ragnarok and learned to wield his powers on his own. However, it's evident that he's going to need something more to fight with against Mad Titan. For this reason, the God of Thunder decides to forge a new weapon for himself.

As we see in the trailer, Thor is in the forge with Rocket Raccoon and young Groot. What is he doing there? Well, it seems that those who made the trailer didn't want us to know. At the shot above, we can see Thor wearing his red cape again and holding something in his hand. But since he's surrounded by multiple lightnings, we can't see what it is. It's been confirmed that Thor will be using a new weapon in the film, so perhaps it's the first glimpse to it.

6 These Small Green Fingers

Via: comicbook

The second trailer showed us that in Infinity War we're going to learn more about Gamora's past. She's going to tell how she became Thanos' daughter.

Years ago, Thanos came to Gamora's planet, attacked those who lived there, killed everyone, and adopted her to turn the little girl into a fearless assassin. Above we see a shot, where Thanos takes little Gamora by the hand and leads her through the crowd of the Chitauri, his loyal servants.

Most likely, we're going to learn more about Gamora's origin, and it's also possible that the past events are going to have a major impact on the entire story in Infinity War. Since Gamora was Thanos' favorite daughter, many fans suggest that she's going to play a pivotal role in Infinity War. Soon we'll learn how she's going to help the Avengers and other superheroes to fight with the Mad Titan.

5 Loki Is With The Black Order

Via: digitalspy

In the first trailer, we saw Loki handing the Tesseract to Thanos. Most of us thought that the God of Mischief is going to defect again, even after everything he and Thor were through in Ragnarok. But what if he was forced to do it?

The only time we saw Loki in the second trailer, it was him standing surrounded by the Black Order; the children of Thanos. Here is Proxima Midnight (we could also see her throwing a spear in the first trailer). The most skillful warrior in the group, Ebony Maw. An incredibly creepy creature we'll talk about more soon, Corvus Glaive, who attacked Vision in the first trailer. Lastly, Black Dwarf, who's actually a giant. The whole situation doesn't look good for Loki at all.

It all makes me think that it's going to be the last time we'll see the God of Mischief alive. I hope so much that I'm wrong, though!

4 Outriders Attack Wakanda

Via: twitter

In the meantime, the trailer also takes us to Wakanda. In the shot above, we can see that the protective shield of Wakanda is going to hold up the enemy for some time, but evidently the Chitauri will get through it sooner or later. And then the huge battle will start. Cap's team that arrived to the African country will fight, along with Black Panther and the Wakandan warriors.

It leads us to a question, "Why will Thanos want to attack Wakanda?" What does he want to get there? Is it because Vision is there or is it something else? We still don't know where the Soul Stone is, and some fans theorize that it has been in Wakanda the whole time. What if it's actually there and Thanos knows about it?

3 Ebony Maw Tortures Doctor Strange

Via: youtube

So we've seen Bruce Banner, Tony Stark, and Doctor Strange together, and then we saw them separately. Banner went to Wakanda, Stark met with Guardians of the Galaxy, and Strange might have stayed in New York. But wherever they are, all of them are in danger.

The second trailer featured a hurtful scene, where Doctor Strange is tortured by Ebony Maw. Obviously, Thanos sent one of his children to retrieve the Time Stone for him. Ebony Maw is known for his genius-level intellect and the power to manipulate people's minds with the help of the webs he creates. (Penetrating into people's minds, he can learn about their secrets.) In this scene, he might be trying to get the Time Stone from Strange or perhaps he needs something else from the Sorcerer Supreme. What we know for sure is that the whole experience won't be a picnic for Doctor Strange.

2 Stark's Suit Is A Mess

Via: elitedaily

Most of our heroes seem to be in a huge danger, when we look at them in the trailer. Thor's head is about to be smashed in by Thanos' huge hand, Doctor Strange is tortured, Vision loses his Mind Stone, and Stark's suit is in complete mess. In fact, it's the first time we see Iron Man damaged so much. Don't forget that it's his newest (that is, the best) armor.

We see Tony in this miserable position right after Thanos says "I hope they remember you," and it makes us think that Iron Man isn't going to survive. After all, we guess (and it's been confirmed) that we should expect some major deaths in Infinity War.

But wait, we don't know if Thanos says it to Stark or to someone else. And it's also possible that Tony looks so unhappy because he couldn't kill Thanos or, at least, prevent him from going to Earth.

1 Is It Cap's End?

Via: empireonline

Another superhero who might meet his end in Infinity War is Captain America. Take a look at this scene. Of course, we've always known that Steve Rogers is incredibly strong, but could we suggest that he could withhold the hand of a Titan? Now we can see that Cap is strong enough to do it (and Thanos is obviously confused by this fact), but for how long can he do it? Sooner or later, he's going to let go. And since Thanos can grow incredibly angry, because some human was going to stop him, things might end bad for Rogers.

Besides, in this scene we can see that Thanos has two stones in his gauntlet. He had the Power Stone from the beginning and then he retrieved Space Stone from Tesseract. Vision's Mind Stone and Strange's Time Stone are still not there. Phew.
