Meek Mill used to have a way with the music, but it seems he's losing his touch. After releasing new tunes for fans to enjoy, it seems he has missed the mark by being in too much of a relaxed state when it comes to spitting out his lyrics. His song Angels is under fire, with fans claiming these commercial sounds are not what they tuned in for.

Fans are dragging him for over-using Autotune and they're not impressed in any way. In fact, fans have pointed out that he's joined the list of so many artists that are falling to the same fate; overusing Autotune to the point that all the music out there sounds the same.

If Meek Mill wants to keep his fans tuned in, he'll need to drop the Autotune and get back to the good old-fashioned hip hop sounds that made him famous in the first place.

Meek Mill's Autotune Fail

Fans rely on musicians to churn out original content that stands out among the rest, but if the majority of the artists out there are relying heavily on Autotune, there is nothing there that authenticates the talent.

Meek Mill has disappointed his fans with his new release, Angels, and they're calling him out. Unimpressed by the commercialized sounds of his new songs and teasers, it seems his popularity is quickly dropping, as is his credibility.

Meek's fans want the authentic sounds of hip hop, not the filtered sounds of Autotune.

If they wanted to hear neutralized sounds, the hip hop genre is not the one they'd seek out. There's no room for Autotune here, and if Meek Mill didn't know it before, he sure knows it now.

Fans Push Back

Music is art, and fans aren't thrilled with Meek Mill's sudden desire to hide behind the fancy fixes that Autotune provides. They want his real music - they want the real Meek Mill.

After posting a teaser of Angels to his page, other media outlets also picked it up and forwarded it, and all comments point in the same direction: "Autotune fail."

Fan commentary includes; "bruh everyone sound the same," "He sounds like lil durk," and "Ion think I like this New Meek 👎🏾 this singin Lil Durk type Chicago sound ain’t it."

Others weighed in to say; "Meek goes hard but man he uses a lot of auto tune lately," and "Let's put autotune on the vocals to become relevant. Another loss." Others said; "He isn't screaming? Autotune? Damn😂," "How this ni**a went full autotune on us like that ," and "Meek Mill...the real Meek Mill... Prolly not 🤔"

Another disappointed fan wrote; "Stop the auto tune Meek smh."
