After months of speculation whether Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion were feuding or not, it appears the answer is a resounding yes.

The “Freak Nasty” hitmaker took time out of her busy schedule performing in the UK to share a few words with her followers on social media, revealing that the reason why Stallion hasn’t been all that active is because she’s constantly bombarded with negative comments on the platform.

“I get on here people be talking art my deceased parents and all kinds of rude sh** I don’t even wanna see it,” the three-time Grammy winner tweeted on Saturday. “I feel bad bc I haven’t really been my self lately and I think the hotties can tell. I just can’t stand social media.”

This prompted a Minaj fan to respond, writing, “She put the cognac down?”

The comment was a clear dig at Stallion. The latter has made it no secret she loves an alcoholic beverage (or two), with her Instagram Stories often showcasing the rapper “driving the boat,” which consists of taking shots from a bottle of liquor.

When Stallion came across the tweet, however, she didn’t hesitate to respond, writing, “Like b***h what are you even talking abt.”

Eagle-eyed fans noticed that the account who made the remark was followed by Nicki Minaj, though it remains unclear whether the New York native had already been following account prior to the debacle with Stallion.

Either way, it was clear that Minaj knew of the account holder in some capacity, and given that his username includes the letters “Nic,” it seemed apparent that he’s a Barb.

While Minaj herself has never publicly addressed her rumored feud with Stallion, she’s definitely hinted at a rivalry with her “Hot Girl Collaborator,” having appeared to have dissed her in her song “Seeing Green” earlier this year.

“One Margarita pizza with Parmesan and garlic / These b***hes thirsty, I can see why they alcoholics,” Minaj raps on the track, which features Lil Wayne and Drake. “Ain’t gotta ever talk about it when you are about it.”
