Michael Jordan is one of the longest-running celebrities to come out of basketball. Even though he retired all the way back in 2003, fans today still know his name and his legacy. Of course, he still rubs elbows with celebrity friends like Will Smith and steps out for awards events and other high-profile events. But for the most part, Jordan stays out of the spotlight.

Which leads to fans wondering about what his life is like now. The short answer is that Michael Jordan's children probably keep him pretty busy! Michael Jordan's current wife is Yvette Prieto, and they share twin daughters. But Michael has a total of five children, and not all of them have the same mom.

Here's what we know about his family.

Who Are Michael Jordan's Children?

Michael Jordan's children range in age from seven to adult, with a big gap in between. Jordan's oldest three kids were born to his ex-wife Juanita Vanoy, whom he was married to back in the '90s and early '00s.

The three eldest Jordan kids, Jeffrey, Marcus, and Jasmine, have pretty interesting careers of their own. Jeffrey, who's now in his 30s, worked for the Jordan Brand, but he didn't get there easily. Jeffrey worked as an intern, then attended a management-training program from Nike, and then wound up working for Jordan Brand.

Jeffrey also founded his own consultant group, seemingly as an offshoot of his dad's brand.

Marcus' path in life was a bit different, has gotten in trouble a bit over the years. He even caused his college to lost its Adidas partnership after rocking Nikes instead. Ultimately, he opened his own business, though.

The third older Jordan kid, Jasmine, is also very much in the spotlight; the 28-year-old is engaged to basketball player Rakeem Christmas, and the two share a son. Jasmine is also an executive at Nike.

Do Michael Jordan's Kids Play Basketball?

Jordan's older son, Jeffrey, does play basketball like his dad. However, he didn't make it his career and appears to have quit playing after college for "personal reasons." Marcus had a similar experience and wound up leaving basketball behind to open a shoe store.

Though not all of the siblings are into their dad's sport, Jasmine admitted in an interview that they're all "super super competitive" in their respective interests. Of course, their dad has instilled the ethics of hard work in his kids, and they know they have to channel that competitiveness into healthy places.

Clearly, the older Jordan siblings have paved the way for the twins, Victoria and Ysabel, to get out and make life their own. But since the girls are still young, it'll be a while before fans can watch them hit the court -- or the boardroom.
