Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is a name we’ve come to know and love over the years. We know the type of trouble that The Situation can get into, as we’ve seen him heavily party and get drunk with his fellow Jersey Shore roommates for years on TV.

Mike has come a long way from his early Jersey Shore days. He went from a life where he was constantly drinking, partying, and even doing some heavy drugs. Eventually, Mike slipped into addiction, and he hit some of his lowest points. If it wasn’t for his wife Lauren Pesce by his side, he claims that he wouldn’t be here today without her.

Lauren has done so much for Mike, they’ve known each other and been together for years — she’s seen him at his lowest points and has done everything she can for him. Not only is she the woman responsible for taming The Situation, she’s also a businesswoman in her own right. Mrs. Situation has dealt with a lot over the years, however, she was the best thing to happen to Mike.

Here’s everything we know about Lauren Pesce.

13 She's Mike's College Sweetheart

Many people might not realize that Lauren is actually Mike’s college sweetheart. The two met in community college, where they had a math class together. They instantly hit it off, both smitten from the start. The two dated for four years before they decided to call it quits in 2009.

12 They Took A Break When He Started Jersey Shore

In 2009, the couple decided that they should take a break since Mike was cast in MTV’s Jersey Shore. Mike felt that it would be better for him to go into the show single, which turned out to be the best decision as he was popular with the ladies.
