January 19, 2023 is the date when That ‘90s Show will finally premiere on Netflix. As the name suggests, the series is a sequel spin-off / reboot of the popular Fox sitcom That ‘70s Show. Husband and wife team Bonnie and Terry Turner were the brains behind the original show, and are once again the creators of this latter production. That ‘90s Show is set in Point Place, Wisconsin, two decades following the events of its predecessor.Danny Masterson was one of the main stars of That ‘70s Show, playing a character known as Eric Hyde. He is a notable absentee from the new series, however, as he continues to focus on the legal proceedings for assault allegations against him. While the outcome of those charges remains pending, the producers did not even consider offering him a spot on the new show.Other main cast members of That ‘70s Show are set to be a recurring part of That ‘90s Show, however, with Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Wilmer Valderrama, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher all set to reprise their roles from the original series.
Mila Kunis And Ashton Kutcher Met On The Set Of That ‘70s Show
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are one of the most famous couples in Hollywood today. They got married in 2015, having known each other for the best part of their lives. The pair first met in the late 1990s when they were both cast as characters on That ‘70s Show. Kunis played the character of Jackie Burkhart, while Kutcher played Michael Kelso.

All ten episodes of That ‘90s Show were filmed in front of a live audience in Los Angeles between February and July 2022. It was a surreal experience for Mila Kunis, who not only got to relive the old set from That ‘70s Show, but also got to work with her husband for the first time as a married couple.
“It was weird to shoot together, I will tell you. It made me super nervous,” Kunis told Access Hollywood in an interview. “Oh my God, I was more nervous doing that than anything else in my career — was to shoot with my husband on the set of [That] ‘70s Show. Cause the set is exactly the same!”
The awkwardness of returning to the set was also amplified by the fact that it is in fact where she met the future love of her life. “To be married, but to be at the place where we met — and it looks the same — was trippy," the actress added. “We walked on set and I was like, ‘Oh … this is weird!’ It was really weird.”
How Did Ashton Kutcher Feels About Working With Mila Kunis On That ‘90s Show?
Ashton Kutcher felt a similar type of nostalgia when he returned to the set of That ‘70s Show in 2022. “It was really nostalgic to be back on the set,” the Two and a Half Men star said in a conversation with Variety soon after wrapping up shooting for Season 1 of That ‘90s Show. “It’s all the same folks that made That ’70s Show, so it was pretty bizarre.”
Kutcher emphasized that it was not a foregone conclusion that he and Mila Kunis would accept to return for the reboot. However, after giving the opportunity its due consideration, they concluded that it was only fitting that they take the challenge on. It also helped that their more limited roles this time around meant that they only spent a limited amount of time on set.
“Mila and I were contemplating it,” Kutcher added. “We thought, ‘Listen, we’re only in the position that we’re in because of that show, so let’s just go back and do this. We just went back and had fun for a week. It was so random and fun.”
