DaBaby's homophobic comments at Rolling Loud have sparked so much controversy and have received so much backlash, that the star has been delisted from a series of live performances he was scheduled for.

Miley Cyrus wants to change the tone of the conversation. In spite of the fact that she is in complete disagreement with how he behaved and detests the words he spoke, she is trying to outreach to DaBaby. Cyrus is pushing back against cancel culture by offering to help educate him on the LGBTQ+ community so that he can make a change.

DaBaby's Future Dangles Before Him

DaBaby has already reached a high level of success in the music industry, and he doesn't want to stop now. He was in the middle of riding his wave of fame when he spoke about HIV & Aids during his live performance at Rolling Loud, offending the LGBTQ community in the process.

Fans immediately called for his cancellation, and celebrities crawled out of the woodwork to weigh in on the matter, agreeing that his intolerance of the community should result in the absolute conclusion of his career.

Big moves were made to ensure that DaBaby is canceled out entirely, as one festival after another started to drop his scheduled live shows, and celebrities such as Elton John and Wanda Sykes started to advocate for him to be canceled.

Miley Cyrus, however, is trying to switch this up a bit. She doesn't think DaBaby, or anyone for that matter, should be canceled over bad comments that they made. Instead, she wants him to be educated further about the culture, and she's offering to be the one to teach him a few things.

Miley To The Rescue

Miley Cyrus thinks that cancel culture needs to pipe down. Rather than canceling out a star each time they say something or act in a way that is offensive to another party, she wants to see people re-educated, instead.

She has pushed back against canceling DaBaby entirely and is suggesting that he be corrected, educated, and given another chance. She believes in this so much that she is stepping up to the plate to educate him herself.

She says; "As a proud and loyal member of the LGBTQIA+ community, much of my life has been dedicated to encouraging love, acceptance, and open mindedness," and then goes on to indicate; "The internet can fuel a lot of hate & anger and is the nucleus of cancel culture...but I believe it can also be a place filled with education, conversation, communication, & connection."

DaBaby has not yet offered up a public comment to Miley's offer.
