Singer and actress Miley Cyrus performed at Summerfest wearing unforgettable outfits, including a Hannah Montana t-shirt. Since the concert, social media has shown their love for the shirt and the Disney Channel show, and have shared links for users who wish to purchase the t-shirt.
Twitter has continued to reference both Cyrus and Hannah Montana, the character that helped launch Cyrus's music career. One user later tweeted, "Nice t-shirt @MileyCyrus or is it Hannah Montana."
Fans have also spoken up about the shirt on her Instagram after posting photos and videos of her performances. Many have commented "Hannah Montana Forever," with one user even commenting, "Hannah Montana is alive and breathing, as she should!!"
Hannah Montana was a popular show centered around Miley Stewart, who lived both a normal life and the life of a pop star. Also starring Emily Osment, Mitchell Musso, and Billy Ray Cyrus, the show ran on Disney Channel from 2006-2011. The show also led to a concert film Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert and feature film Hannah Montana: The Movie.
The show concluded following Cyrus's wishes to move on to more mature roles. Her first mature role came in the 2012 film LOL, and she released her album Bangerz one year later.
The "Can't Be Tamed put on a show full of classic hits such as "The Climb" and "7 Things," to covers of hits by Blondie and Janis Joplin. She also performed Mike WiLL Made-It "23" with Wiz Khalifa, who also appeared with her at Lollapalooza.
It is unknown if she will stick with this setlist for her upcoming festival performances. However, the Summerfest and Lollapalooza setlist are almost exactly the same. There is also no word on other artists who may appear with her.
As of this publication, the star has yet to speak about an eighth studio album in the near future. However, she plans to headline more music festivals, including Austin City Limits this fall, and this weekend's Music Midtown Festival. Unfortunately, her Plastic Hearts concert tour has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to her various festival performances.
