Netflix's Stranger Things has been one of TV's best shows since its debut years back, and its cast is a primary reason why. They're a gifted set of performers, and though the talent level is through the roof, Millie Bobby Brown has managed to stand out consistently.

The star had humble beginnings in acting, and after nearly throwing in the towel after being rejected for Game of Thrones, she has turned into one of the brightest young stars that Hollywood has seen in some time.

As a tribute to the show, Brown got a Stranger Things tattoo, and we have the details below!

Millie Bobby Brown Faced A Lot Of Rejection Early On

Hollywood is currently filling up with young stars who have proven that they have the talent and the drive to lead long and successful careers in the industry. Millie Bobby Brown fits this description perfectly, and things seem to be getting bigger and better for the actress.

Though not an instant success, Brown has been able to climb the ladder in Hollywood, something that would not have been possible had she gone through with her plans of exiting the industry early on.

"I think I was just very disheartened by the rejection, which is something I tell everyone. Like, this industry is just full of rejection, 24/7. You get far more noes -- a lot of noes -- before you get a yes. I was auditioning for commercials, for anything, really. I then auditioned for 'Game of Thrones' and I got a 'no' for that. Then that's kind of when I was like, 'Oh, this is really difficult,' because I guess I really wanted that role," she told Jimmy Fallon, according to CNN.

Thankfully, she stuck it out, and her career is on fire.

Brown has a lot on the horizon, including the fifth season of the show that helped her become a breakout star.

Stranger Things Means A Lot To Millie Bobby Brown

Stranger Things made its official debut back in 2016, taking no time at all in becoming a celebrated piece of media that oven again proved that Netflix was capable of delivering outstanding original content.

Millie Bobby Brown was a youngster when the show first began, and she regularly stole the show during season one. Her portrayal of El was mesmerizing, and in the seasons that followed, Brown continued to deliver in spectacular fashion.

The show's fourth season recently aired, and it was a celebrated release that somehow managed to take the show to another level. Brown, once again, was exceptional on the show, and her character underwent some important development, all of which was captured brilliantly in the star's performance.

The show clearly means a lot to Brown, who made the choice to make it a permanent part of her with a tattoo.

Millie Bobby Brown's Tattoo Dedication To Stranger Things Is Subtle

"In small black ink, Millie sports the number 011 on her wrist, which is the number she was given while in the Hawkins lab before escaping and finding her buddies," Glamour wrote.

It's a subtle tattoo, one that you likely would not notice unless you were looking for it. Nevertheless, it's a cool nod to the character that turned her into a household name.

The tattoo is cool, but it's not the only one that Brown has.

"As well as her Stranger Things–related tattoo, the British actor, who is gearing up for the release of Enola Holmes 2, also appears to have a rose inking on her back and a dainty heaty tattoo on her collarbone. It’s unclear whether Millie Bobby Brown will add to her collection of tattoos in the future, but it’s fun to see her acknowledge the origins of her fame," Glamour continued.

Brown's decision to celebrate her hit project with some ink has been done before. The cast of Lord of the Rings, for instance, all made sure to brand themselves following their time in arguably cinema's greatest trilogy.

According to Aragorn actor, Viggo Mortensen, "We all got the same one - the word "nine" in Elvish - because that's what we are, nine. I visited the tattooist a couple times, showed him the drawing and stuff. I didn't say anything about Ian McKellen or whoever may be coming in. He just did it. We did all meet one morning and it was an interesting event, and I enjoyed it. Half a day. Actually everyone showed up. It goes along with all the other scars we got!"
