Yes, you read it right. Miranda Cosgrove is worth $10 million. The actress was discovered at the age of three when she was dancing and singing around a table at a restaurant in LA. Her first big break was her role in the musical comedy film, School of Rock.

Since then, her career just kept growing. In 2012, she was even listed in the Guinness World Records as the highest-paid child actor. So how did the Nickelodeon star amass her fortune after all these years that she's all grown up and not taking many acting jobs anymore?

Miranda Cosgrove Earned Most Of Her Money From iCarly

By the time iCarly ended in 2012, Miranda Cosgrove was reported to be making $180,000 an episode playing Carly Ray. It's no surprise she was named the highest-paid child actor then. That's a lot compared to how much her fellow Nickelodeon child stars made.

Her iCarly co-star Jennette McCurdy only made $50,000 per episode. Jennette's net worth is only half of Miranda's. Their other co-star Nathan Kress also just has a net worth of $1.5 million and made the same as Jennette per episode. The large discrepancy between the rest of the cast's salary and Miranda's has been an issue throughout the years.

She Was Margo's Voice In Despicable Me 2 & 3

After iCarly ended, Miranda moved on to voice acting. She was the voice of Margo for Despicable Me 2 and 3. Both movies made about $2 billion in worldwide ticket sales. Despicable Me is one of the most successful animated media franchise, so we're sure Miranda got paid a huge sum for being part of it.

After the movies, Miranda slowed down and only made a few appearances onscreen. She was in the music video for Despicable Me 2's soundtrack, Happy by Pharrell Williams; she made a cameo in CBS' long-running legal drama, The Good Wife in 2010; and got a major role in 2019's sci-fi thriller, 3022.

She's Currently Hosting CBS Series, Mission Unstoppable

Miranda Cosgrove purposely took a break from her acting and singing career to go to college. As a child star, she didn't really get to do what kids her age did, so she didn't want to miss this important part this time.

Now, she's back on screen as the host of CBS' Mission Unstoppable, a show about women in science, technology, engineering, and math. Way to inspire younger girls, Miranda. We're sure after all these years, CBS is still paying her a lot to influence younger girls through such an inspirational show.
