Vinny and Izzy were practically married after night one in Paradise. Viewers thought they would make it to the end and possibly get engaged. After the "lamp guy" Brett walked in, Izzy decided she wanted to pursue a relationship with him. Vinny was crushed and left Paradise alone. Brett suddenly had a stronger connection with another contestant, which left Izzy regretting her decision to pursue Brett. She tried to win Vinny back, but they were never able to make it work.
