Katharine King So On Her New Role In Netflix's 'The Recruit'

The world is gearing up to watch Katharine star in Netflix's latest original series 'The Recruit'. Katharine exclusively shared what it was like filming the show and working with the cast and crew. "It was honestly a wonderful experience," she shared. "What really struck me on “The Recruit” was how great the team was. Everyone was so positive and welcoming, down to the attitude of the ADs and the drivers. I loved working with Noah and Fivel and the scripts really pull you in. I think this show is going to blow up."

She also opened up about working alongside Netflix icon Noah Centineo for the first time ever.

"He’s honestly so down to earth. Of all the high-profile celebrities, I think he has one of the best attitudes and has such a team-player mentality. He never complains and would offer to get coffee for me. Total sweetheart! He seems to be genuinely happy and grateful to be doing what he’s doing on the scale he’s achieved, and that’s so beautiful and refreshing."

Katharine King So Shares Her Netflix Watch-List

Speaking of Noah, Katharine has watched some of his previous work, specifically his iconic franchise role with Netflix. "I enjoyed watching him in “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before”, she revealed. "So it’s very cool to see him seamlessly settle into such an exciting role in the action genre."

Aside from the TATBILB franchise, he has also starred in Netflix's Sierra Burgess Is A Loser and The Perfect Date. He has been one of the most sought-after actors on the streaming platform.

The rising star also shared the latest Netflix series that she binge-watched. "Do you know what I thoroughly enjoyed? Next In Fashion. I devoured that!" Katharine King So Reflects On Portraying Batgirl For DC

Katharine recently made waves in the video game universe after participating in the Gotham Knights game that was just released in October. She did both the motion and facial portrayal for the iconic character Batgirl. "That game was so much fun!", she exclaimed. "I’ve been lucky to get to play a superhero a couple of times. What’s so captivating about DC is the scope of the worlds they create. You get this extension of fantasy and reality unlike anything else."

From playing a superhero to her comedic roles, Katharine has done it all! But, there are a few different roles she would love to take on next.

"You know, I’ve always wanted to play twins and explore two characters who are polar opposites within the same body haha. Or to play someone at multiple stages of life. And my lifelong dream is to be in any kind of period piece, I even wanted to be a costume designer when I was younger. Unfortunately, when you’re mixed you don’t get considered for many roles outside of “modern-day”. I do hope that starts to change."

See Katharine shine in Netflix's The Recruit, available on December 16th!
