There's really nothing better than queuing up a brand-new Netflix series and then binge-watching the entire thing all at once. Unfortunately for fans, the newest streaming shows are being released in bite-sized pieces, with promises of more to come.

Plenty of Netflix originals are new for 2021, and 'Zero Chill' is one highly-anticipated pick for teens and, let's be honest, everyone else, too. The series is slated to start on March 15th, but there's quite a bit to find out about it ahead of the release date.

While some shows on Netflix have missed the mark -- fans agree that 'Marriage or Mortgage' is more depressing than entertaining -- 'Zero Chill' promises to be pretty interesting.

So it might not have a star-studded cast, necessarily. But if fans take a closer look, they'll see a few things to get excited about. The cast features names like Grace Beedie, Jade Ma, and Dakota Benjamin Taylor.

Grace is a pretty new name in the industry (her first project in IMDb was in 2020), but she's been on ice skates for much longer. The "YA figure skating drama" is right up Grace's alley, says Women and Hollywood, because she's truly a figure skater first, and actress second.

It's one thing that Netflix seems to be pushing: real skaters on the ice, both figure skating and hockey professionals, and an international cast to boot. Women and Hollywood compares the show to 'Spinning Out,' but suggests that it won't be quite as "edgy." But that's intentional; the executive producer explained that the show is "something really special for the kids and family audience."

Fans can expect real figure skating and hockey footage, courtesy of the multi-talented cast, plus a "fluid camera style" to really capture the movement. Along with Beedie, viewers can catch Jade Ma, another ice skater and upcoming 'Black Widow' actress, plus Dakota Benjamin Taylor, a Canadian hockey player turned actor.

It's really gearing up to be interesting, even if there won't be as much drama as other upcoming Netflix releases. But then again, if fans are looking for a realistic sitcom-drama to watch with the family, 'Zero Chill' is probably a safe bet.

Plus, new releases are always interesting for checking out new faces. No one really knows yet what to expect from Jade Ma in 'Black Widow,' or what Grace Beedie will do next (beyond IG influencing of course), so this show could be a jumping-off point for all of their careers.

While the cast might not be propelled to fame as fast as, say, the crew on 'Bling Empire,' Netflix may have another hit series on their hands. Besides, no one's saying fans can't tune in to both.
