Celebrities love their fads, that's no secret. More often than not our Instagram feeds are littered with advertisements for green teas that promise to help you shed the pounds, weight-loss shakes or the latest subscription boxes. There's so much going on that it can take a detective to find out what is actually worth our dollar. According to Kim Kardashian, Neuro Drinks are the latest thing to pop into your Burkin bag, but what are they? Are they worth buying or is this another #ad?

Recently, the mother-of-three raved about the blue bottles on her app, on her Instagram page, and in an interview with Elle, in which the bottles were prominently featured in the background. Yes, Kim K is probably getting paid an obscene amount to peddle them, but let's see what's turned her head this time. Health products can be hard to assess, so are these stylishly packaged beverages worth it?

According to Refinery29, the drinks are sweet, light, flavored, and resemble the once ultra-trendy Vitamin Water. They come in a few different flavors to appeal to the masses, including Sonic, Trim, Gasm and Bliss - Kim's favorite. Each one is designed to give its drinker a particular boost in the area they want. For example, Bliss is enriched with L-Theanine, vitamin D and chamomile to help reduce stress levels and take the sting out of your day. On the other hand, Gasm gives you a much needed injection of caffeine when you need it, and claims to leave you "playful, passionate and satisfied". Talk about bang for your buck.

While most of us are more likely to put our faith in doctor recommended supplements, Neuro Drinks aims to "offer health solutions" in liquid form. Of course, before you start taking any supplements it's recommended that you contact your doctor to ensure that they won't interfere with your body in unwanted ways. Be sure to check the fine print if you feel like seeing what all this is about. For example, Neuro Sleep contains melatonin to aid sleep which isn't permitted in food items, which is why it's marketed as a dietary supplement.

Something tells us with the promise of better health and with the backing of one of Instagram's leading ladies, Neuro Drinks are going to have a pretty good year. Would you try it out? Let us know in the comments.
