Sophie Turner's latest project is proving her acting chops in a big way; the Game of Thrones star has taken her fans by surprise in the latest trailer for her upcoming thriller drama Heavy.

In the trailer, Turner can be seen on top of actor Daniel Zovatto in what looks like the beginning of a steamy love scene. Fans are used to seeing Sophie Turner as the somber Lady of Winterfell, Sansa Stark, but "by the old gods and the new," as they'd say in the show, all the ice on The Wall would melt when Lady Stark strips down to the ‘bare’ minimum.

The movie revolves around a high-profile drug dealer Sev Max (Zovatto) and his love interest Maddie (Turner). They’ve broken out into the scene of the Big Apple, and feel like nothing can go wrong. The trailer is a chaotic glance at their life when an old friend needs help. A friend in need, gets you killed, indeed!

This is not the only steamy scene we get to witness in the trailer. There are flashes of many other intimate moments between Sev and Maddie as well, suggesting that the trailer is very representative of what goes on in the film, and didn't only use the one steamy scene in the trailer as bait for Game of Thrones fans.

This isn't Turner first turn at on-screen intimacy: She previously adopted a more PG-13 role as Jean Grey in the X-Men series, after making a brief attempt at a few sex scenes in Game of Thrones - far fewer of them than most of her co-stars.

Heavy’s trailer has already gathered a massive reaction from Sophie’s fans, but it’s not just because it's ‘wild on the bed’ crazy. We can also see her shoving a syringe in Zovatto’s neck in one scene, showing the kind of intensity and high stakes many Game Of Thrones fans are likely drawn to.

In the trailer's final seconds, we hear Turner’s voice saying, “This is the kind of story where everyone is to blame and no one is spared. Then again, they do say that love conquers all.”

Heavy will release in Video On Demand in the U.S. on February 9th, 2021.
