2020 wasn’t the worst year for Nick Lachey. He scored big with Netflix, hosting the show ‘Love Is Blind’ alongside his wife Vanessa.
Although the show was a major hit, Nick was skeptical at first, given the concept;
“You have to propose to someone sight unseen and accept their proposal without ever having seen them,” Nick Lachey explained. “Only after you accept do you finally see the person you’ve been talking to for hours and hours and hours.”
It would all change for Nick when he saw the genuine relationships that were created, along with the emotions involved, especially for the guys;
“You get away from other people in your ear, like ‘What do you see in her? Why are you talking to her?’” Nick Lachey said. “Your friends or your family. It’s all about the connection between you and the person on the other side of that wall. And the connections they formed were like crazy strong. Within two days, grown men weeping.”
Thanks to its success, the show is set for a second season, though the date is yet to be confirmed. Fans are eager for the start of a new season, given that it all began almost a year ago. The intent is to create numerous seasons down the road.
For the time being, Lachey is content spending time with the family, he recently celebrated his daughter’s birthday.
Happy 6th Birthday
Nick wished his daughter a happy sixth birthday, it was an emotional post, as he recapped from her first day on this earth;
Nick’s post was filled with joy;
“My little baby girl isn’t so little anymore!! I am so very proud to be your father and so very proud of you and the amazing little person you are! You blow my mind every single day and this world is a MUCH better place with you in it. I love you so much B. Happy, Happy, Happy 6th Birthday. You are everything to me!!”
