Nicole Kidman has been among Hollywood's elite for close to 30 years now and has walked home with Emmys, Golden Globes, an Oscar, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. To say that she has achieved a lot in her career is an understatement. On top of being one of the top actresses in the world, she has maintained the facade of someone who is down to earth and remains humble despite her accomplishments.

But is Nicole Kidman really as humble as we expect her to be? Is she really as down to earth as we'd like to think? Only those closest in her circle can answer that question and few are closer than the staff who work for her. And those same staffers have loose lips.

10 Working With Her Opens Doors

Back when he was merely a digital producer, Luigi Picarazzi worked under Nicole Kidman briefly during the 2000's. The experience and connections he formed from working with the Oscar winning actress eventually allowed him the opportunity to become the senior producer of ABC Family.

Then, he was able to open up his own firm as the President of Digital Media Management (which he still runs today. Clearly, Nicole Kidman's name opens doors and speaks volumes in the industry. Just ask Mr. Picarazzi for proof to the matter.

9 She Understands Fashion

Julia von Boehm has served as Nicole Kidman's stylist for close to five years now. In 2017, after just a couple of months on the job, she spoke to Vanity Fair about the process of working with Kidman and trying to top every dress before the next event. Ultimately, because "Nicole actually understands and knows about fashion, and knows what works on her," Kidman is open to any and every fashion choices from her stylist; easy to collaborate with.

Although, von Boehm did mention that she does like to dress Kidman in long sleeves, since the actress gets cold easily.

8 How Much Does Nicole Kidman Parent Her Kids?

As with most busy celebrities, Nicole Kidman needs the help of nannies to manage controlling her children, but how much work does she put in as a parent? Does she do what she can, or does she rest all of the responsibility on a nanny's shoulder? If you ask Suzanne Hansen, she'd say that it's closer to the latter.

In her tell all book, called You'll Never Nanny in this Town Again, Hansen recalls nannying for Kidman during her marriage to Tom Cruise and claims that she never played an active part in raising her kids Connor & Isabella. She goes as far as to say she never even saw Kidman with her own children.

7 How To Greet Her Children

In a less bashful story of nannying in the Kidman household, a Nashville nanny once admitted that Nicole Kidman insists that she wants her children to understand and appreciate their Aussie roots, and so she instructs her nannies every morning to jovially greet her kids as such: "G'day mate!" Sounds like a bit much, but we'll run with it.

"I always thought it was a bit of a joke," the same nanny admitted. "But I was never quite sure, so I said it every day just in case."

6 She Trusts The Process

Nicole Kidman is able to trust the judgement of experts and is willing to work with them however she can. We learned this to be the case earlier with her stylist and this continues to be the case when it comes to her hairdresser.

John Nollen has served as Nicole Kidman's hair stylist, along with other stars like Vanessa Paradis, but he especially loves the free range that Kidman gives him. "What has been amazing was the complete trust she gave me to create her hairstyle for every occasion," he told Vogue in an interview. "At the beginning, during the fitting, together with the crew and make-up artists we analysed her look and her dresses and we came up with the whole theme. It was a pleasure for me to be free to create."

5 She's On A Tight Schedule

In the same Nollen interview for Vogue, the hairstylist mentioned that as much as he loves working with Nicole Kidman, the one drawback may be that he has to get it all over and done with in a quick, timely fashion. It's essentially a rush job for him.

To explain what he means, he said, "Due to her super-tight schedule [I had] to have her coiffure ready in 20 minutes … maximum! To be on time, I used to repeat at night every movement I had to do the day after, in order to be ready to create the coiffure as fast as possible."

4 She Skips The Hairdryer

Much of that Vogue interview saw John Nollen praising Nicole Kidman for having healthy hair and how hairspray with little droplets of vinegar is her hair's best friend. However, one interesting tidbit mentioned is that more often than not, she skips using a hairdryer. Which some hair enthusiasts may frown upon, but Nollen encourages it for Kidman.

"Volume is naturally part of curly hair and that is what the coiffure has to play with," he says. "[Letting the hair dry] naturally enhances the curls."

3 She Instills Major Confidence

Gemma Fordham is the head of content at the Southern Cross Austereo's Hit Network, but before that, she worked as a personal assistant on film sets for Nicole Kidman.

When speaking on her experience to Body and Soul, she said,"I've said this to Nic before, but I firmly believe that that job shaped me as a person." Her words speak to the kind of confidence that Kidman instills into her employees. We think Fordham's solo success certainly has made Kidman proud, considering they reunited for a Women's Day breakfast show in 2017.

2 She Likes To Be Around Fellow Aussies

For all of the movie roles she has where she is donning some semblance of an American accent, it is easy to forget that Nicole Kidman is a native Australian. As such, she likes to bring as many fellow Aussies into her circle as she can. Which explains why she hired Gemma Fordham.

In a separate interview with The Telegraph, Fordham went in depth into why Kidman hired her as her assistant. Apparently, Kidman typically hires Americans, but while going through her divorce from Tom Cruise, Kidman "really wanted an Aussie" who understood the classic "Aussie sense of humor."

1 You Know When It's Time To Go

Staying on Fordham for a second, she spoke on why she left Kidman's side. She was not fired, but she left on her own avail when she decided it was best not for herself, but for Nicole Kidman.

"The only reason I left was because Nic had come full circle," Fordham explained. "She had four children, was married again, in a beautiful relationship and deeply happy. She didn't need me anymore. She's incredibly loyal. She's worked with the same people for a long amount of time and she looks after them."
