O.J Simpson has been heavily trolled after revealing he was avoiding Los Angeles.

The reason? Because he thinks he has a chance of running into his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman's "real" killer.

Simpson — who was acquitted of the brutal stabbing murders of Brown and Goldman — recently spoke to TheAthletic.com.

Simpson told Tim Graham: "People may think this is self-serving, but I might be sitting next to whoever did it. I really don’t know who did this."

Simpson explained that his legal problems, which he dubbed "the LA thing," has led some people to "wrongfully believe something."

The former running back who now lives in Florida added:

"I still think I’m a good guy. I didn’t let it change me. It did for a while," Simpson said.

"I was angry for a while, but I treat everybody the way I want to be treated."

In regards to the world learning what exactly happened when Brown and Goldman were fatally killed, Simpson said: "You’ve got to look to learn. I figured eventually somebody would confess to something, you know?"

"I had one suspect I told my lawyers to look at. I still think he might be involved, but I can’t talk about it."

However due to the overwhelming amount of evidence, most social media commenters believe the jury got it wrong and O.J is a double murderer.

"if 'that’s my story and i’m STICKING to it' was a person!!!'" one person wrote online.

"Sitting next to? Somebody hand this man a mirror!" a second added,

"sir you are the real killer lol. But a this point I believe you believe your own lies," a third commented.

"If you don’t shut up and live the rest of your life. We all know who did it mayne," a comment read.

But surprisingly one person came to Simpson's defense.

"s*** i believe him, what if they tried to frame him? They were so focused on it being him and did not look for anyone else," a person wrote on Instagram.

However they were soon blasted by a number of people, with one writing:

"It’s disrespectful to the dead’s family that you would say that. There’s overwhelming evidence if you research it."

Fred Goldman — the father of Ron Goldman, spoke out against Simpson after the article surfaced. Fred has always maintained that O.J killed his son.

He declared it a "shame" that O.J. was not one of the people who has passed away from COVID.

His comments came after The Juice claimed he considered death while battling the disease last year.

The 80-year-old told the New York Daily News: "Out of all the people who’ve passed away from COVID, what a shame he wasn’t one of them. I certainly don’t think he deserves any sympathy. He’s alive, he’s free."

"He can do anything he wants. Everything my son can’t do."
