Once upon a time, or more like 10 years ago, the ABC show, Once Upon A Time aired on October 23, 2011. The show told the story of a new world, in which fairy-tales and modern life collide. The main character, Emma Swan, is the child of Snow White and Prince Charming and gets thrown into the fairy-tale world where many problems ensue.
Once Upon A Time lasted for seven seasons and was created by Lost and Tron: Legacy writers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. It sparked the spin-off show, Once Upon A Time In Wonderland, which followed Alice in Wonderland and her backstory. The spin-off only lasted for one season.
By the final season, the series had its lowest ratings ever, with just 3 million viewers. The series sparked many books and comic books related to it.
So, now that the tenth anniversary of the show premiered, is approaching, let's find out where the cast is at today.
10 Jennifer Morrison
Jennifer Morrison played the main character of Emma Swan on the show. She didn't know she was born into a fairytale family until her son she gave up for adoption showed up at her door. Before OUAT, she was on House and other roles. After Once ended, Morrison went on to act in other things. This year, she is directing an episode of Dr. Death and the upcoming show, One of Us is Lying, based on the book by Karen McManus.
9 Colin O'Donoghue
Colin O'Donoghue played Captain Hook/Killian Jones and Emma Swan's love interest on the show from seasons 2 to 7. Currently, he plays Douxie on Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans and Wizards: Tales of Arcadia. O'Donoghue plays Gordon Cooper on The Right Stuff. He has been keeping pretty low-key on social media, posting about his roles and viynl collection.
8 Lana Parrilla
Lana Parrilla played Regina Mills/The Evil Queen on OUAT. Despite being the villain in the beginning, she redeemed herself by the end. She has continued to act since Once ended. Parrilla played Favi on the show The Tax Collector last year and is currently starring as Rita Castillo in Why Women Kill. The actress recently met up with her old co-stars Rebecca Mader and Sean Maguire to meet their new babies.
7 Ginnifer Goodwin
Ginnifer Goodwin played Snow White/Mary Margaret Blanchard and Emma Swan's mom in the series. However, she left as a main character in season 6. Goodwin is married to OUAT co-star Josh Dallas and they have children together. She also starred in Why Women Kill in season one with Parrilla and is currently starring in Earth To Ned and the upcoming show, Pivoting.
6 Josh Dallas
Josh Dallas played David Nolan/Prince Charming and Emma Swan's dad in Once Upon A Time. He is the on and off screen love of Ginnifer Goodwin. Currently, he is starring as Ben Stone in the NBC drama, Manifest. He shares updates of his and his family lives on social media because Goodwin does not have any. Dallas usually posts selfies and special memories with his kids.
5 Robert Carlyle
Robert Carlyle played Rumpelstiltskin/Mr. Gold/Weaver on the series. Again, like Parrill he was the villain who turned good in the end. After Once, he went to star in Yesterday, The War of the World and is currently starring as Robert Sutherland in Cobra. Carlyle only has a Twitter and tends to keep his personal life pretty private, only posting about roles and interviews he's done.
4 Jared S. Gilmore
Jared S. Gilmore played Henry Mills from seasons 1 to 6 on the show. Since the show ended, he has not acted in too much. Gilmore has done the English dub for Shalio on the show Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection. The actor, however, is active in attending cons around the country and posts selfies on his Instagram. He currently is growing his hair out.
3 Emilie de Ravin
Emilie de Ravin played Belle on Once Upon a Time in all 7 seasons. She has starred in the television film, A Lover Scorned in 2019 but has not done much acting since then. Emilie de Ravin has been spending most of her time hanging out with her children and husband in Australia. According to her Instagram, she will be involved in a 2022 project called True Colours and will film in Australia.
2 Rebecca Mader
Rebecca Mader played Zelena/The Wicked Witch of the West/Kelly West on the series. She was the one you didn't like when she first appeared but then grew to like her character once she redeemed herself. She has not starred in anything since OUAT, but created a YouTube channel with co-star Sean Maguire during lockdown. Mader also recently gave birth to her second child, a girl named Bailey this past September.
1 Sean Maguire
Although Sean Maguire didn't join the show until season 3, he quickly became a main role and part of the OUAT family. He played Robin Hood and Regina Mills' love interest on the show. Maguire starred in HeadShop last year and the show The Magicians. Maguire also recently became a citizen of the U.S. along with his wife and they welcomed their third child and first daughter this year. He shares a lot of his life on his Instagram page, posting throwbacks from the show and adorable pictures of his family.
