Oprah Winfrey is facing heat after a 2004 interview featuring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen has resurfaced and is making its rounds on the internet.

While appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Talk Show, the Olsen twins were questioned by the television host about eating disorder rumors, and many viewers are finding it disturbing, especially since the actresses were both 17 at the time.

In the clip, Winfrey blatantly asks both of the sisters, "I know a new rumor recently surfaced has really upset you, right?" She then adds, "You know, the one about eating."

Ashley Olsen responds, "Yeah, you know people are gonna write what they're gonna write. We try not to read the good or the bad because it just comes with the territory. Either you're too fat, too skinny and people are just gonna write what they -"

Before she could finish her statement, Winfrey then asks, "What size are you, by the way?" Both the Full House stars appeared taken aback by the question as Ashley explained that they are both "petite" women.

According to Marie Claire, Mary-Kate Olsen checked herself into rehab later that year for a "health-related issue."

Fans of the Olsen twins were not very happy with Winfrey, who believed she put two young stars in a very uncomfortable situation. One Twitter user called the interview "cringe-worthy" while another Twitter user believed Winfrey should "apologize" to the stars.

The newly resurfaced interview is one of a handful of celeb interviews that highlights the mistreatment of women in the entertainment industry. Late Night host David Letterman is also facing backlash for his disturbing interviews with Jennifer Aniston and Lindsay Lohan.

In 2013, Letterman probed the Mean Girls actress about her struggles with addiction, and viewers watched an uneasy Lohan trying to switch the subject to the movie she came to the interview to plug. However, Letterman continued to ask the star about the sensitive subject and about going to rehab.

The Late Night host faced backlash again not long after, when another interview with Jennifer Aniston showed Letterman going behind the star as he put a piece of her hair in his mouth. Letterman asked the Friends star if she was "traumatized" by his actions, to which she replied, "I am."

All of these unearthed interviews have stemmed from The New York Times latest documentary Framing Britney Spears which showcased the toxic treatment of the pop star by the media. The documentary has garnered widespread attention about how relentless the media can be to women in Hollywood, in the hopes of stopping it.
