Fans who loved Lauren Lapkus on 'Orange is the New Black' aren't surprised that she's dabbled in plenty of other TV shows and movies. After all, the actress launched her career via Twitter, so she's capable of hunting down any acting job (or creating her own, in some cases) she wants.

Of course, 'OITNB' might've been her most recent career highlight. The role has earned her awards and accolades from SAG and more. Fans were all about her time as corrections officer Fischer, too.

But now that the series is over, what is Lauren up to?

What Is Lauren Lapkus Known For?

Apart from 'OITNB,' Lauren Lapkus is known for quite a few of her creative pursuits. For one thing, she appeared in 'Jurassic World' back in 2015, but it's not always high-profile roles that garner attention.

In addition to acting, Lauren's also a comedian, notes the biography section of her website. She has an improv podcast, has written her own sketches for a Netflix comedy series ('The Characters'), and earned accolades back in 2016 for her humor and was ranked as a 'comic to watch' that year.

Who Is Lauren Lapkus Married To?

In between her appearances on 'OITNB,' Lauren went and got married. Her husband is Mike Castle, and the pair clearly share a quirky sense of humor (as well as their background in Hollywood).

Lauren Lapkus' husband is an actor and a writer, and even at their wedding, he was cracking jokes about his new wife.

What Is Lauren Lapkus Doing Now?

Now that she's been on a hit show, gotten married (for the second time), and broken a few records and earned awards, what's next for Lapkus? More of the same, of course. Fans will remember that Lauren appeared in the final episodes of 'The Big Bang Theory' to play Stuart's love interest, but she didn't stop there.

She's gone on to appear in a handful of films since 'OITNB' (like 'The Wrong Missy'), and her TV appearances haven't slowed either. Lauren voiced a few cartoon characters over the years for shows like 'Craig of the Creek' and 'Big City Greens,' but she's also been in a few more serious roles.

For example, Lapkus appeared on 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?' and won $500K for an organization that supports research on Crohn's disease. And after that, the actress and comedian appeared on 'Good Girls,' with her latest project being 'Close Enough.'

She's playing a gal in uniform again, too; this time Lauren's an FBI agent on the hunt. But even after this project wraps, Lapkus isn't done with Hollywood yet!
