The Black Eyed Peas on Punk'd was an example of things going a little too far. Ashton Kutcher himself revealed that he is not open to a reboot, despite the show's popularity years ago. He has a specific reason as to why, which we'll tackle a little later in the article.

The show had several celebrity guests and in truth, things didn't always go to plan. In one instance, Pamela Anderson revealed that her unaired skit was worked out in advance and completely fake.

We'll look back at the moment, along with other questionable occurrences to have taken place.

Punk'd Had A Few Issues With Its Legitimacy

Ranker has an entire list on mistakes and errors made by Punk'd throughout is journey on MTV. In truth, the show wasn't always the most legit, and that was especially true through the way the show was edited. If a certain celeb came across as too harsh, the show always did its best to edit the best possible way.

"In Drake's episode, where he thought was going to meet then-Vice President Joe Biden, the Punk'd crew faked an earthquake. Apparently, Drake jumped and curled up into the fetal position on his friend's lap. In the episode that aired, though, Drake is just shown looking scared. The extent of his fear was only revealed later when Ashton Kutcher shared the story," Ranker states.

Zach Braff on the show was another example of a fancy edit. The actor was apparently enraged by the skit, though it did not come across that way.

“Zach tried to pummel Rob, but instead pummeled my arm... He basically hit my arm as he was trying to hit this kid. He definitely wanted to stomp the ever-living crap out of this kid.”

Other celebs have also been critical about the show. That includes Pamela Anderson, who never saw her skit air in the first place.

Pamela Anderson Called Her Unaired Scenario Completely Fake

Pranking celebs was made to look easy on the reality show, though in truth, that really wasn't always the case. It took three attempts to finally fool Neve Campbell, while others weren't easily fooled either, recognizing the actors that were taking part in the pranks.

The show also had a tendency of not airing certain moments, especially if the reaction wasn't as great, or if the celeb did not give their consent after the edit.

Pamela Anderson was among those that didn't see their skit get aired. However, according to Anderson, she knew about the entire ordeal that was taking place.

Ranker elaborated on the moment, "Pamela Anderson reportedly knew the prank was happening the entire time. In her unaired Punk'd episode, she was lead to believe that an adult movie was being filmed in her garden. Anderson, though, claimed she knew it was a prank the entire time."

Perhaps that might be the reason as to why the skit never aired. Nonetheless, the show is now done with, and the host has no intent on bringing it back.

Ashton Kutcher Has No Intention On Bringing Punk'd Back

So why won't Ashton Kutcher revive Punk'd? For the simple fact that he "has friends again." According to Kutcher, it was getting harder and harder to hang out with others because of the show.

"For a long time, I would go out and like nobody would want to hang out," Kutcher said, according to People. "They were like, 'I am not messing with him.' It's nice to have friends."

Nowadays, Ashton has entirely different focus, which is all about being a family man, and continuing on expanding his wealth of knowledge, especially in areas outside of Hollywood.

"The sexiest thing in the entire world is being really smart. And being thoughtful and being generous. Everything else is crap. I promise you. It's just crap that people try to sell to you to make you feel like less. So don't buy it. Be smart. Be thoughtful and be generous," Kutcher said.

In addition, Kutcher will be part of That '90s Show. As for why, he credits That '70s Show for changing his life and putting him in the current situation that he is in.

Never forget where you came from, folks.
