Paris Hilton has revealed painful photos from her past.

The reality star revealed in her viral YouTube documentary This Is Paris that she endured emotional and physical abuse as a teenager, while attending Provo Canyon School in Utah.

And on Thursday, the 39-year-old shared never-before-seen photos of herself at the age of 18.

The snaps shows a gaunt looking Paris at 18, taken shortly after returning home to New York from the boarding school.

Paris wrote that she could "see the pain in [her] eyes," adding that her younger self was just "trying to block out the painful memories."

"These photos were taken when I was 18 and had recently came home from the horrible experiences I went through at #ProvoCanyonSchool. I can see the pain in my eyes. I was so traumatized that I pretended everything was okay, trying to block out the painful memories."

"Looking at this now, I know that the teen me would be so incredibly proud of the woman I am today. Being brave and using my voice to make a difference and save children from having to endure the abuse myself and so many others have had to go through," she wrote.

The Simple Life star was seen in the photos sporting modest black pants and a navy tee with an NYPD baseball cap over her shoulder length platinum locks.
