Prince William has been praised by royal fans after he made three secret visits to a homeless center in London.

The second in the line to the throne helped pack food and chatted to residents just before Christmas.

The Duke of Cambridge, 38, first visited The Passage in 1993 as a young child with his mother Diana, Princess of Wales. According to their website, The Passage aims to: "provide resources which encourage, inspire and challenge homeless people to transform their lives."

During his December visit, the 38-year-old royal worked alongside a team of volunteers to prepare hot meals for those in need. The father-of-three previously revealed what a "deep and lasting impression" the charity has had on him over the years.

William also spent time at two residential projects which caters to clients with complex needs. He was seen dishing out food and chatting with residents.

The global pandemic has been a difficult period for the center, it managed to serve 70,000 meals and hopes William's visits will act as a much-needed publicity boost.

Speaking at The Passage in 2016, the Duke revealed the profound impact the centre has had on him.

"The visits I made as a child to this place left a deep and lasting impression upon me," he said.
