It ended up landing on Rolling Stone's list of 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album.

5 'Certified Lover Boy' - 613,000 Units Sold

As Drake approaches the latter stage of his career, he seems to cling to his "lady killer" persona. In Certified Lover Boy, as the title of the album suggests, Drizzy preaches on loyalty, lust, and tainted romances.

Released in 2021, the album went toe-to-toe against another big emcee in the game, Kanye West, with his hotly anticipated Donda album. Certified Lover Boy, on the other hand, is rich with features from Jay-Z, Ty Dolla Sign, Lil Wayne, 21 Savage, Young Thug, Future, Travis Scott, and more. A year after that explosive start of a career, Drake came back with a new look in Take Care. Released in 2011, Take Care introduces the world to the new dark sonic of the Canadian rap star, supported by singles like "Marvins Room," "Headlines," and "Crew Love." 2013 marked a good year for rap. Views, from 2016, serves as the pinnacle of Drake's commercial success. Tapping his longtime producer 40, Views features some of the most exciting heavy hitters in music like Rihanna, Kanye West, and international stars like Kyla and Wizkid. The album takes its influence from West African and Jamaican dance hall music with flavorous sounds of Afrobeat and British funk.
