Jersey Shore has easily become one of the most successful reality television shows to date! After airing for the first time back in 2009 on MTV, fans were officially introduced to the cast, made up of Snooki, Jwoww, Pauly D, Mike, Sammi, Ronnie, Vinny, and of course, Angelina. The show was an overnight success and gained millions in ratings, and rightfully so! While it came to an end after 6 seasons, the crew is back and all grown up in their newest venture, 'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation'.
Although everyone but Pauly and Vinny is married or has kids, the drama is still very hot and heavy! With Deena revealing she's pregnant to Angelina and the ladies no longer speaking, the show is doing better than ever. 10 Jenni Farley Throwback
Jenni, or as she went by during the original series of Jersey Shore, JWoww, is definitely a fan-favorite character from the hit MTV show. While she may have come in hot and heated, Jenni is probably the most level headed of the bunch.
The star found herself mediating quite a lot of arguments, something she is used to doing from way back in her high school days. JWoww attended Columbia High School where she wasn't necessarily popular, but folks knew who she was, and knew not to mess with her!
9 The Sorrentino Family Photo
Ah, the Sorrentino's! Mike 'The Situation' was easily the breakout star of Jersey Shore along with none other than Snooki herself. The Italian guido took pride in his looks, hitting the gym, tanning salon, and of course, the beach, any chance he could get. The star comes from quite a tight-knit family of two older brothers and a younger sister. Mike's sister, Melissa, made a number of appearances on the show, both down at the Jersey Shore and when the cast filmed season 3 in Miami, Florida.
8 Vinny & His Eyebrows
Vinny Guadagnino certainly knew how to keep the peace when it came to his time living in the Jersey Shore house. While he occupied most of his time with his fellow bromance bud, Pauly D, Vinny always knew how to calm any situation and bring the best out of anyone. Although Vinny certainly had its positive attributes, it appears as if he had a difficult time navigating a pair of tweezers during his high school days. The star had quite the thin pair of 'brows, a beauty style that is very much long and gone, and thankfully so!
7 Snooki's Cheer Days
Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi was all anyone could talk about when Jersey Shore first aired on MTV back in 2009. The star was not only the most popular cast member but found herself involved in just about all the drama the show had to offer.
Although this newfound fame may have been a first for many of the show's cast members, being popular is nothing new for Snooki. The star was quite well known during her high school days and spent her time cheering on the squad all while taking on competitive gymnastics, two sports she took on for most of her childhood and teenage life!
6 Ronnie Goes To Prom
Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was not only an official member of the 'GTL' squad (gym, tan & laundry) along with Mike, Vinny, and Pauly D, but he also found himself in a relationship with fellow cast member, Sammi Giancola, otherwise known as Sammi 'Sweetheart'. Although he spent his time on the show romancing Sammi, this was nothing new for Ron Ron.
The star has always had luck when it comes to relationships, especially during his high school prom, however, it seems as if that luck has dwindled. Ronnie made headlines when it was revealed that he and his ex-girlfriend, Jen Harley, had officially split up after years of ongoing fights, DUI's, and a nasty custody battle.
5 Mike & His Bangs
Mike 'The Situation' always knew how to look his best on Jersey Shore. Whether it was constantly having an even tan, getting in an ab workout, or styling his hair perfectly before hitting up Karma nightclub, Mike always needed to look his best. Although he got his look on lock for the show, it seems as if he hasn't always found himself looking his best. During Mike's high school photo, the star sported what appears to be bangs similar to that of the classic mushroom haircut seen throughout the '90s and early 2000s, a look that has since been gone for good.
4 Pauly D Ridin' In Style
Pauly D is without a doubt the most successful Jersey Shore cast member. The star went on to have a very lucrative DJ career and found himself with his own dating spin-off. Due to his success, Pauly has amassed a net worth of $20 million, a feat no one is surprised he reached. Before becoming a multi-millionaire, Pauly took a page directly out of Growing Up Gotti's book and became an official guido at a young age. From the motorcycles, gelled up hair all the way to the typical Jersey accent, Pauly D was destined for fame and fortune!
3 Snooki's High School Days
Snooki managed to keep many of her high school friendships alive and well during her Jersey Shore days. Considering the star ran in many social circles during her cheer days, she and fellow gal pal, Caitlin Ryder, managed to keep in touch after graduating.
During the filming of the show, Snooki even had Ryder come down to the Shore a number of times for some of the wildest nights out. Although she and Ryder were like two peas in a pod, it appears as if the two have lost touch, however, there are no signs of hard feelings whatsoever!
2 Mike & Lauren Throwback
Mike Sorrentino had quite the journey during his time filming the original Jersey Shore! While he had a lot of luck when it came to girls, Sorrentino never really had a serious relationship during his time on or after the show. Flash forward to today, not only is he married to his wife, Lauren Pesce, but the two are expecting their first child together. Mike and Lauren dated for 3 years prior to him joining Jersey Shore the first time around, however, the two split up right before he began filming. Luckily for Mike, the duo rekindled their flame back in 2015 and have been inseparable ever since.
1 A Sammi Sweetheart Prom
Last, but certainly not least is Sammi Giancola. The star was introduced to fans as Sammi 'Sweetheart', however, viewers quickly learned that she isn't always so sweet. She and fellow castmate, Ronnie, dated for the majority of the show, however, the two are no longer on speaking terms. Sammi is now engaged to Christian Biscardi and the two are planning on getting married this year! Despite her remaining close with Deena, Snooki, and Jenni, it seems as if not a single cast member received an invite to the wedding. Yikes!
