The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe miniseries WandaVision has become so popular, it crashed its streaming service Disney + when it aired its seventh episode in February. WandaVision is just one of the latest shows to be announced for the MCU in 2021, but there is so much more to look forward to after taking an 18-month long hiatus because of the coronavirus.

2021 has a lot in store for the MCU and it will be one of the biggest years for Marvel Studios. From series following Loki and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier to films such as Black Widow and Spider-Man: No Way Home, the beginning of Phase Four will be just as impressive as the first three.

10 'WandaVision'

Actress Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany returned as Wanda Maximoff and Vision for the first Disney+ sitcom WandaVision when it premiered on January 15th, 2021. Vision is seemingly back in the series as they live a sitcom-inspired life in the made-up town of Westview.

It is rumored that the series is somehow connected to the Doctor Strange sequel set to be released in 2022, and fans will see supporting cast members from other Marvel movies joining the series. The last episode is set to air on March 5th, 2021.

9 'The Falcon And The Winter Soldier'

Actors Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan return as Falcon and the Winter Soldier in this Disney+ series set to premiere on March 19th, 2021. It will also introduce actor Wyatt Russell as John Walker/ U.S. Agent as the government's pick of who should take over the Captain America mantel, despite Steve Rogers handing over his shield to Sam Wilson.

Will the series end with Sam taking over the role of Captain America? Fans will have to wait and see when it premieres in March.

8 'Loki'

Tom Hiddleston is back as Loki in the Disney+ series Loki, set to premiere on June 11th, 2021. Despite his character dying a number of times, it looks like Loki is back and working with the TVA (Time Variance Agency).

With this alternate-timeline version, fans will presumably learn more about the TVA organization, as we learned about S.W.O.R.D. in WandaVision, as well as just how massive the MCU multiverse could be, as The Wrap reported.

7 'Black Widow'

Black Widow starring Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff was supposed to start off Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase Four, but it got pushed back because of the coronavirus. However, it has a movie premiere date of May 7th, 2021, and will follow the events of Captain America: Civil War with Romanoff on the run as she deals with her past.

While fans already know the fate of Romanoff, the movie will likely discuss the Black Widow program further and Romanoff's history.

6 'Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings'

Actor Simu Liu will make his debut as Shang-Chi in Marvel's new movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, set to be released on July 9th, 2021. According to The Wrap, fans will learn more about the skilled martial artists,  the Mandarin, who is played by Tony Chiu-Wai Leung, and more about the mysterious Ten Rings organization.

5 'What If...?'

What If...? will be the first animated series in the MCU that will explore what would happen if the major events that occurred in the movies happened differently. Jeffrey Wright will star as the Watcher, who narrates the Disney+ series, and will consist of 10 episodes.

There is no set release date, but it is expected to premiere on the streaming service in mid-2021.

4 'Eternals'

Fans already know that Marvel's Eternals will have a star-studded cast comprised of Angelina Jolie, Kit Harington, Richard Madden, Salma Hayek, and Kumail Nanjiani, just to name a few.

The movie will follow the 'Eternals' - an immortal alien race who will reunite after coming out of hiding to battle their evil counterpart, the Deviants. It is set to be released later this year, on November 5th, 2021.

3 'Spider-Man: No Way Home'

It was recently revealed that the upcoming Spider-Man movie will be called Spider-Man: No Way Home, and will have Tom Holland returning in his spidey suit for the last time, that is, if Marvel Studios and Sony can partner up again and release another film.

Doctor Strange will make his appearance in the movie as a mentor to Spider-Man, which was previously held by Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr., it will also somehow possibly tie-in to the Doctor Strange sequel coming out in 2022. The movie has a release date of December 17th, 2021.

2 'Hawkeye'

Hawkeye will also be getting its own miniseries on Disney+ but without a set release date in 2021. The show will follow the original Avenger, played by actor Jeremy Renner, as he trains Kate Bishop, played by Hailee Steinfeld, to be the new Hawkeye.

The show will take place after the events of the movie Avengers: Endgame and will introduce fans to the latest Hawkeye character.

1 'Ms. Marvel'

Disney+ will also be streaming Marvel Studios' Ms. Marvel, which stars Iman Velani as the 16-year-old superhero, Kamala Khan, Ms. Marvel, a Pakistani-American girl who became the first Muslim superhero in the comics.

According to The Wrap, Velani will reprise her role in the film, Captain Marvel 2, set to be released in 2022. There is no exact released date yet for Ms. Marvel, but it will probably see a premiere date in late 2021.
