The luxury of being the owner of a restaurant is that, as the owner, you can sort of call your own shots. The owner of a restaurant in (what looks like) Santa Cruz, California did just that by taking a couple of unique stances about his menu and then asking his patrons for their feedback.

Among the questions asked on his FAQ form, he/she assumed the patrons of this very laid back style establishment would want to know if the restaurant served mayonnaise. The response was a simple no, stating that the owner finds it disgusting. Not enough? What about ranch dressing? Nope, they don't offer that either.

But, the best thing on this list by far, is the thing he does offer, especially when you ask rude people to leave his restaurant.

If, as a customer of the restaurant you see someone rude and ask them to leave, the owner will provide a free ice cream sundae. That's right, if you do what most people should do anyway, which is stop rudeness in its tracks, you'll be the recipient of a free dessert.

The restaurant writes, "we try not to, (serve rude people) but sometimes they slip in so please feel free to ask them to leave and we will reward your good deed with a brownie sundae.

Whether this is all in good fun or the owner had a bad experience with a rude customer, the idea itself is pretty hilarious and the point is well received. At this restaurant, you better not be rude to the staff because if you are, you'll have a number of customers looking for chocolate and ice cream and ready to put you in your place.

One has to wonder if the idea of kicking yourself out would get you a sundae. It's an out-there thought, but then again, so is the idea of offering free dessert to have your customers on neighborhood watch.
