Real Housewives of Atlanta fans were devastated to learn of the passing of NeNe Leakes' husband, Gregg earlier this month. However, amidst the heartbreak, it seems like NeNe is taking steps to heal - and in so doing, she's reconnected with old friends.
NeNe Adjusts To Her 'New Normal'
NeNe took to Instagram this weekend to thank those who have rallied around her in her time of need. Although she acknowledged that there was still a long journey ahead, she said that was in a period of readjustment and grateful for all the measures her nearest and dearest had taken to ease her heartache thus far.
Fans Spot A Sign Of Healing In NeNe's Post
While the RHOA alum's followers were quick to share an outpouring of love and well-wishes, some also took the time to point out that one of the people mentioned in her post was none other than Cynthia Bailey.
As CheatSheet has reported, NeNe and Cynthia have had a tumultuous friendship over the years. However, it seems like with Gregg's passing, the two have been able to reminisce on the beautiful moments they've shared together - and patched things up as a result.
Gregg's Final Wish For NeNe
For some of NeNe's fans, the reconciliation went beyond support, and many commented that Gregg had orchestrated the rekindling in order to bring peace to those he loved the most - like a Guardian Angel.
