Bravo has been giving fans just about everything they've ever wanted when it comes to the Real Housewives. From the pettiness in Potomac, the romances of Jersey, all the way to the legal dramas of Beverly Hills, fans have been loving every second of it.
On RHOBH, it appears as if Erika Jayne's ongoing legal issues surrounding her ex-husband, Tom Girardi, are at an all-time high, and considering that there are loads of details that aren't adding up when it comes to her divorce, it's only fair that a few housewives have questions, especially Sutton Stracke!
The Southern belle is certainly asking all of the hard-hitting questions, and with Sutton's experience following her divorce, where she was entitled to A LOT of money, Stracke is quite versed on what's really happening. With Erika's situation being quite messy, it's only reasonable for Sutton to keep her distance, but are they still even friends?
Sutton Questions Erika's Situation
This season of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills is easily one of the most dramatic, mainly when it comes to Erika Jayne's ongoing divorce and legal issues. While the season started out with Sutton Stracke and series newbie, Crystal Minkoff at one another's throats, it seems as if the two have set their differences aside and are now uber-focused on what's been transpiring within their circle.
As the ladies embarked on their trip to La Quinta, Erika let a lot of details regarding her marriage to her ex-husband, Tom Girardi slip out. From his nasty car accident all the way to his many infidelities, it seems as if the one detail Erika forgot to mention was the $25 million that Tom embezzled from his law firm straight into Erika Jayne's LLC, EJ Global. Yikes!
During the cast trip to Palm Springs, the Los Angeles Times exposé on Tom Girardi and Erika Jayne was released, however, EJ conveniently snuck back to Beverly Hills the night before. As the cast read through th article, it was Sutton Stracke who was most versed in what was going on.
It was at this point that Sutton began to dissect everything that has been going on, questioning Erika's involvement, and even making it evident that EJ could easily spend time behind bars if her accounts were, in fact, used to embezzle the firms millions. Fans applauded Sutton for finally asking the questions that have been on everybody's mind, and while the rest of the cast has remained silent, with the exception of Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton isn't taking what's happening lightly.
Are Sutton & Erika Still Friends?
During Sutton's meeting with the ladies at Dorit Kemsley's home, Stracke made it clear that she is not sure whether she wants to be around Erika at the moment. Considering the cast could easily become involved in the legal proceedings, it's smart of Sutton to separate herself from Erika as much as she can.
As the season progresses, Erika and Sutton go head-to-head, and Sutton isn't backing down, making it clear that the two aren't all that friendly right now. This became even more evident when the ladies of RHOBH posted a photo interlocking their fingers in support of Erika.
Well, Sutton wasn't one of them! The show included Kyle, Dorit, Lisa, and Erika, which Garcelle has labeled as the "inner circle". While Sutton is standing firm in her decision to distance herself from Erika Jayne, it's definitely created a lot of additional tension within the group, but luckily Sutton's got Garcelle and Crystal Minkoff by her side!
