Newcomer of Real Housewives of Orange County Elizabeth Vargas had a lot to say about Branwyn Windham-Burke's marriage. She posted a screenshotted article to her Instagram and shadily asked fans for their opinions. She posed a question about whether or not Windham-Burke's statements are "narcissistic" and "hypocritical."

Subtweeting On Instagram

Windham-Burke answered a string of questions on her Instagram story over the weekend, stirring up more opinions about how she's handled coming out as a lesbian. One comment, in particular, is infuriating fellow RHOC cast members, in which she stated she would be heartbroken if Sean found love again.

Vargas included a lengthy caption about the situation, "OK... I’m sorry but this is just getting to be wayyyy to much 🤣 Didn’t she just announce she’s NEVER been attracted to him EVER & she’s 'SLEEPING WITH WOMEN'!"

The Orange County newbie went on to say, "Acceptable behavior because she calls it a 'modern marriage' or extremely narcissistic & hypocritical...Thoughts?"

Vargas doesn't seem willing to at least try to understand the complexity behind coming out, getting sober, and being married to someone for over 20 years. Lots of viewers, however, agree with her sentiments.

Fans Give Their Input

Is it hypocritical to date other people after this realization and then not accept that Sean will also date other people? Yes, and the two of them have told fans that they are in therapy to unwrap such topics.

One fan wrote under Vargas' post, "There is nothing modern about someone who is making everything up for fame. Last I checked it’s not ok to be married and have a girlfriend/boyfriend on the side."

Jason Kanner of Soul Artist Management called out Vargas for her harsh words, "Ugh Is this really how you’re going to build your television persona with online bullying? Sheesh."

Vargas was congratulating her for coming out not too long ago on social media. Accusations like supposed narcissism should not be taken lightly and used by people without professional opinions.

Some of this ill will, however, may sprout from Windham-Burke researching her on the show. Another fan speculated, "When she told you that she researched you because 'you lied to her' like you OWED her an explanation (you do not), I thought...well, that's highly narcissistic."

Windham-Burke has not addressed her castmate's claims. Instead, she posted a photo of her son Jacob and expressing how proud she is of him.
