Rihanna's career has always been about making a big statement. She does absolutely everything on a grand scale, and her adoring fans have been waiting with bated breath for the release of her next album.

Fans loyally invest in her music, and her cosmetics brand, and simply just can't get enough of their favorite artist.

This limited edition book is being presented as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for fans, and everyone who loves her wants a piece of this action.

There's just one problem though... very few can afford this kind of indulgence.

The Incredible Book

Rihanna's life and career are rich with history, and beautiful experiences. She has taken some of the most intimate, personal, and wildly exciting moments of her life and presented them in a book that is said to be; 'hand-sewn and bound in bespoke padded Japanese-designed fabric with a pearlescent finish.'

The book highlights important aspects of her life, and is said to capture images of some intimate family moments, as well as some high-end fashion moments as well. There are 504 pages in total, and well over 1,000 to keep fans entertained. Included is a double-sided poster that is removable from the book itself, and reportedly contains handwritten letters and personal touches that have been added by the star.

There are only 500 copies made of The Rihanna Book: Queen Size, and of course, the moment she revealed the book, fans clamored on to her social media channels to see if they could snag one of the very first copies.

Then, they realized the price tag. At a whopping $1495, this is not within easy reach, and this caused some contentious comments online.

Big Book, Big Disappointment

Fans adore Rihanna, and they absolutely do think this book is an awesome thing for her to release for their enjoyment. It's a wonderful way to be part of history in the making, and is already being considered as a collector's item. However, the excitement quickly led to disappointment.

Seemingly targeting a high-end market, a memoir book that costs nearly $1495 is simply not within budget for many of Rihanna's fans.

Fan's disheartened comments include; "The books sold out before you could even finish the tweet. How Ima buy it?," and "Sorry, BALLER book readers only! $1495.00, wow!" as well as; "The book gone cost more than the table I would even put it on."

They also wrote; "I ain't getting the GIANT version and I can't afford the MINIATURE version either. Being a person of limited means sucks big time," and "I can't even buy the small Rihanna book.. It's price is too high."
